i have gone through the granite and made for TV skillets and found them to be light weight and cheap. I have used my Cuisinart 10" for about two years. No pot holder or towell is required due to the long handle. The tall sides allow me to stir the food by quickly sliding back and fourth. I was hesitant on buying a skillet with the no-stick coating but find it to be very helpful and there is no evidence of any coating coming off. I also have an eight inch Cuisinart I use to make omelets and cook smaller meals. I am very satisfied with both and use them almost daily. I have a nephew that likes to cook and just started living in his first house. He is getting by with cooking utensils given to him. I bought a 10 inch Cuisinart skillet. He was quick to recognize the quality and has told me how much he likes it. Read more
Well made pan. Browned up some hamburger, and it slid around beautifully. No sticking whatsoever. The handle stayed cool, and the pan washed up with ease. Really impressed with the pan. Read more
This is a good pan, extremely nonstick easy to clean & not real heavy but has some weight to it. It is not good for trying to fry something round as the item slides all over. Read more
The media could not be loaded. In my opinion, a non-stick pan lives or dies in its ability to cook eggs without them sticking to the pan. this pan delivered nicely in that test. I recently has a need to get new cookware for a new kitchen so I opted for the Cuisinart Pro Series, which I love, but it only came with an 8" non-stick skillet which does not hold much - I eat 2 eggs and one egg white every morning for breakfast and then cook up that last egg yolk for my pups to enjoy. I can't fit it all in the small non-stick pan so I have to fry the pups egg yolk after I finish my eggs. When I make a big breakfast on Sunday morning, I have to do three batches of eggs for my family - so annoying. Although I like the 10" regular skillet that came in the set, I did not have a great experience with it the one and only time I used it to fry eggs. They stuck a little bit and I just don't want to have to add too much oil to the pan when frying eggs. Since I can't find a 12" non-stick skillet in the Pro Series, I decided to go with the 12" Chef's Classic Non-Stick Skillet. I was able to fry eggs using very little oil. As you can see in the pictures and video, my daily breakfast eggs and the pup-yolk fit perfectly in the pan. I think I can easily fry 6 eggs in this pan on Sunday since it is so big. The non-stick coating worked really well. I am such a fan of the helper handle on a large skillet. The pan is not terribly heavy but when cooking larger batches of veggies or a stove-top one pan meal, the helper handle makes handling the pan so much easier. Plus, it looks so high end. I think this pan is a great value, for the money. I never use metal utensils in my non-stick pans which really extends the life of the pans. Additionally, I don't crack eggs or stomp utensils on the rim of my non-stick pans so the coating does not get damaged in any way. The pan specifications indicate the pan is dishwasher safe but, like all of my stainless steel cookware, I had wash it all to preserve the beauty and luster of the stainless steel finish. Add all of this to the lifetime warranty on this pan and you've got a real winner!! Read more

This review is for all you glass-top stove owners out there. I like having a large nonstick skillet with a helper handle for things like pancakes, sauteeing without crowding the pan, making omelets, and many other kitchen tasks. I bought a Farberware skillet a year and a half ago, but almost upon the first use, it warped, making it almost useless on the flat surface of the stove. After putting up with that for many months, I decided to treat myself to the Cuisinart 12" model. I've owned a Cuisinart stainless steel pots and pans set for three years, and I've been very happy with the quality of that set, and this nonstick has not disappointed. It sits perfectly flat on the largest burner on my stove, heats up quickly and evenly, and responds to temperature changes as quickly as I can expect. The nonstick coating seems to be durable so far (I only use nylon utensils on my nonsticks, but sometimes my wife isn't so caring), though I will say it's not quite as non-stick as some of my other pans (make sure you have some fat in the pan when frying eggs, for instance), but it does the job well enough. Conclusion: If you need a large nonstick skillet that won't warp on your glass top stove, get this guy. Read more
