Combined with my ozone pump this keeps my cold plunge crystal clear. I haven't changed the water for 8 months since I got this and it doesn't look like I'll have to any time in the near future. Read more
Seems to work good. I love that it is clear! I had a leaking issue. I took everything apart and used more Teflon tape, so don't be shy with it! When I put everything back together, I got a cross tread issue -being metal screwing into plastic. I'm sure it will me fine as long as I never have to take anything apart, So be careful with that. I ordered a new filter that is supposed to last 12 months and is 5 Microns to reduce Chlorine, odor taste etc.. I also put a sediment filter on before this one. I bought a 5 FT section of PEX for $5 and used shark fittings. This install is Half house -before the water heater! Read more

good filter housing to go behind my water softener for extra protection. The by pass valve makes changing filters easy and less time consuming Read more

Im very gay, still in the closet, but want to get out and show the world! And this filter is as good as you can get. Double rubber, o-ring placed better and not sitting on top of housing getting stretched out. I've put over a hundred in of these culligan standard duty filters, and the upgrade o-rings are the real deal! I never use the turn depressurization knob, or any type of red push buttons on any filters as they can leak. Just turn off the main water, open a sink faucet to release pressure, and replace filter, when turning water back on the water and air has a place to purge out so you won't blow the o-ring. And slowly turn water on, don't give it immediate full pressure, you'll be good to go! Read more
This filter seems to work OK. Its fairly new yet. Install was simple enough. But when I turned the water on it had a slow leak around the handle at the top (not between the clear body and the blue top)... since I had it hard plumbed into my system I didn't want to take it off. I turned the water off and did some investigating and under the handle there are 4 screws. I took those out and there is an O-ring around the handle interior. I put a bunch of plumbing silicone grease on the o-ring, reassembled it, and the leak was FIXED. So be advised... If you get a leak coming under the handle you can fix it. Just be sure to turn the water off first! I downgraded the product to 3 stars since I had to fix it. Now it seems to work OK. ********************************* UPDATE - 3may2013 This filter housing is still going strong. I've probably changed the filter 4-6 times. I have had no issues with leaks. It seems the initial fix is holding fine. Maybe the problem was a twisted O-ring and when I removed it and greased it the reason it stopped leaking was that it wasn't rolled? Anyway, just wanted to update the review to let you know it is working. If it keeps up this good performance maybe I will upgrade it to 4 stars...
