I've tried so many office chair mats that just did not work for our office chairs. We have a carpet in the office. Not much pile at all so did not think this would be an issue. Other brands would slip and slide or bunch up. It was important that we have a pad that stayed in place on the carpet and the chair could slide on wheels. I received a black mat for review, so I can't speak to the quality of the personalized versions. However, as a basic chair mat, this was exactly what I needed to protect my carpet. You can see in the photo that I have a small workspace and don’t roll around much, and this mat does the job perfectly. It smoothed out nicely after being unrolled, and the material feels durable.
