Bought these socks for my grandson, now 18, who goes through socks 1 pair/week with Many holes. After wearing them for about 1 year, he still has NO HOLEs in these socks. They are comfortable and he thinks the designs are “cool”. Read more

I always like Darn Tough socks, and typically they hold up well for me. I enjoy the fit and feeling when I hike in them, and these socks are very comfortable to wear on backpacking trips. Unfortunately, the back of one sock (near the top of my heel) got a small hole in it after about 14 miles of hiking, which was disappointing. I'm still going to wear them because they're overall nice and great for the trails I like to do. Just hoping the the hole doesn't continue to grow. I'd still recommend this brand to hikers, as I feel that the hole is not something I've had a problem with in the past.
