It just so happens that my hobby is traveling to the world's mountain ranges and going on long hiking trips in them. I never go without several pairs of Darn Tough socks. I bought this pair of Darn Tough Women's Pixie Crew Lightweight Lifestyle Sock (Style 1692) to add to my collection for two reasons: The beautiful pattern of colors goes with all of my hiking shirts (when you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you hike better!); and, I have a pair of trail runners that requires a thinner pair of socks to fit well. These lifestyle socks fill the bill. They are not padded in the heels and toes like the other style I wear (light hikers), and that's perfect for the fit I need. Since I started wearing Darn Tough socks four years ago (during which I have gone on hiking trips on the coast of Ireland, in the Himalayas and two in the Alps), I have never had a blister and never had a hole in a sock. I have a drawer full of other brands, but they are gathering dust. Once you try Darn Tough, it's hard to wear anything else. They are soft, comfortable, and have no seams to rub. These are pricey for me but I buy a pair once a pay period to build by stock up because I love them!!! they are durable and have a lifetime warranty. I work outside and these socks are great at keeping feet dry and no smell from sweat. I wear 7.5 shoe and med fits great. Love the colors. Read more
The comfort and quality of these socks are 100%. I chose 5 pair for this fall/winter. I plan on wearing them for daily wear and becoming my minimalist 'go to' socks. I love the colors, and I personally prefer the thinner socks like these (instead of the cushioned ones). I appreciate that they are seamless, but for me the toe box has a weird shape that feels really uncomfortable when I first put them on. I guess maybe it just doesn't match my foot shape very well. They seem to hold up ok in the wash so far. Read more
