VERY complicated machine. 1. instruction pages are 15x20 inches (4 pages) in size 6 font. TINY! see picture Machine likes to "rinse" before brewing (using about 1/4-1/3 cup water) so that wastes the water in the holding tank. There is a place to use already ground coffee but the chute just goes to the inside of the machine gumming it up - it does NOT go into the brew grounds receptacle to actually brew coffee. see picture. The choice of brew strength, espresso, up to tall water distribution is NOT accurate. an 8oz cup of coffee is really about a 4 oz cup of coffee. An espresso is just less than 1 ounce (1/2 a shot glass). The 'frother' does NOT give hot water - only steam. The grinder is fairly quiet - and it did make a 'cup' of coffee. The pucks did automatically empty into the receptacle but THAT needed emptied after 2 pucks. I did contact the seller asking about the missing filter and requested it to be sent. They offered a $20 refund OR to return the machine. I was VERY excited about having this - been wanting this for 6+ months and sent questions to the seller BEFORE purchasing. I'm disappointed.
