Our dog loves this toy. I bought it as an artificial stick because she goes absolutely crazy for sticks, but tears them apart. I try not to let her chew on the Dexas toy so it will last longer, but after quite a bit of use and some attempted chewing, I canβt find a mark on it anywhere. It is soft dense rubber, not hard plastic, so itβs got great bounce. My only wish would be for it to float a little higher in the water so she could find it more easily on those long swims, but thatβs nit picking. All round awesome toy, quality product, and loved by our dog. Read more

This combination isn't amazing at either thing individually, being a frisbee or a water/food bowl, but it's decent at both and very thick and sturdy. However, I didn't receive the removable leash attachment: there's just a hole in the frisbee where it should go, but nothing to attach to it. So part of the functionality isn't there. Also, the material seems to attract dirt and mud, and it's really hard to clean it off. Rinsing it does nothing but knock off a bit of the loose stuff, and I've even run it through the dishwasher and had it still be a bit dirty. After the dog's played with it a bit, I don't want to use it as a bowl since it's covered in dirt that I can't get off. But overall, pretty good toy, and the added bowl functionality is nice when you can use it. Read more

My puppy loves this frisbee! She is teething and will stop to chew on it for a bit and it does not show any wear or tear. It is softer on their teeth than a plastic frisbee. It takes a little more effort to throw but still flies nicely. I throw it upside down if using at the lake to help her pick it up easier. The orange color makes it easy to find. I am very happy with the durability and my puppy loves it too! Read more

Our lab is in LOVE as soon as he sees it he knows we are headed out to the pool. He was a new swimmer and in a matter of weeks he dives under water to get it before it floats to the top. He pops tennis and racquet balls within minutes and this thing has held up to his strong bite. Read more

Our golden retriever LOVES to play frisbee and even more he loves to carry his toys and chew on them. He had a kong soft frisbee that was thinner than this frisbee that even tho he destroyed it he carried it around shredded for months. Since this is a similar material we have to watch him closely when he plays with these types of toys. It already is sliced up. It's too easy to stop, lay down and chew. For fun playing it's a 5 star, its bendable, smells good, bangs into his mouth and bounces off his head with ease. He will not hurt his mouth or head catching this toy. The rim is deep so its really easy for him to pick up if it lands upside down. However, for durability of a chewer its a 2 star and unless someone is going to watch him to not let him chew it to shreds I wouldn't recommend this toy. We are saving it for the beach and our pool where he runs so much he hardly has time to lay down and chew a toy. The soft rubber texture and flexibility of this toy is especially appealing and satisfying to a chewer!! Its a little more pricey than similar dog frisbees. I like the water bowl idea, tho our dog doesn't stop to drink when he is playing, regardless its a creative idea. I absolutely love that it floats. I was surprised that even filled with water it still floats. We have never found a softer frisbee or for that matter any frisbee that floats. The orange color is terrific as its easy to spot in the pool or ocean. One thing that is not useful to us is the leash hook. Our dog loves his frisbee (or toys) so much he would rather carry it on a walk, there is no way he is going to let it dangle on his leash. He usually goes for walks with 2-4 toys in his mouth. In his opinion, a toy is meant to be played with, not attached to his leash. Because this frisbee is heavy it does not fly as far as a cheap plastic frisbee. I find it goes only about 30-40 ft. For play at the beach that is fine, in the yard I wish it went further for him to run. Regardless a floating frisbee is a great toy. I do wish he could not rip it so easily. Read more

This is a versatile and durable frisbee for the appropriate dog. LIKES: - It is sturdy. - It flies well but a bit differently that a lighter frisbee--a bit more wobbly. - It floats best upside down but will still float right side up. - It has a nice feel to it. - The frisbee is bendable without being damaged. - The underside center cylinder (see photo 4) holds one cup of water comfortably. It can hold a little more if filled to tippy top. - The hook that hangs onto the leash is ratcheted so that the hook can be bent in the direction it needs to be affixed. DISLIKE - There's only one dislike and that it is a bit awkward to have this hanging off the leash if walking long distances. However, this can hang on a belt loop just fine and does not need to be attached to a leash to be portable. Overall, I think this is an excellent frisbee for the right dog. I like that it can be used as a water dish and it is portable due to the fact that it can be attached to the leash or a pant belt loop when not in use. Read more
