Ordered this for my sister and she is very happy with it. She is disabled and was having pain when sitting. She says this helped alleviate her pain and doesn’t slide around like the old one she had been using. It does not flatten out over time but retains its shape. She said she is happy with the firmness of it. The other one she had been using was too firm and was uncomfortable to sit on. I bought this because I knew I was having surgery that would affect me being able to sit normally and directly on my lady bits (due to stitches in the healing area). I also do occasionally struggle with hemorrhoids too, so I figured hey added value. This donut was a godsend for me being able to ride in the car again post-surgery. I tried it without when I was about 1.5 weeks post surgery and my gosh was that a bad idea. Trying it again with the donut made it perfectly tolerable. This takes the pressure off that area and allows me to sit normally. Then, as I've had to return to work and need to sit in an office chair all day, this has allowed me to do that with I'd say a good amount of comfort. I've also been able to successfully return to driving a car too. My only warning is, if you plan to use this in a car, beware the height of your roof! My car is a littler sports car with a low roof, so when I sit on this donut, my head is literally right up against the roof, making it a little awkward. You will probably have to adjust your desk chair to accommodate for how much taller you will sit, too (I did). Overall, awesome product. The material is very nice, very well-made, and I think the sizing is right for my body (I don't know how I would tell if it wasn't). It's very thick and would probably stand up to someone of a higher weight (I'm a 130 lb woman). My husband tried it once and said it felt good to him too. Honestly I'm so grateful for this product during my healing phase. Down the road if my h's flare up, I will pull this out!
