I have been using these pillows consistently and they have been very comfortable overall. One of the first things I noticed was the thickness. They have a nice loft to them and do not feel skimpy or flat like some pillows do right out of the package. Even after several nights of sleep they keep that fuller shape and do not compress down too much. The gusseted edges really help maintain that thickness across the entire pillow. There is support all the way through instead of just at the edges, which makes a big difference for neck alignment. As a side sleeper who also ends up on my back, I appreciate that they stay thick enough to support my head without feeling stiff or bulky. They feel soft when you lay on them but still have enough structure underneath to prevent that sinking feeling. I do not have to fold or bunch them up to get comfortable. These pillows are nice, but not "overfilled". They are regular pillows of nice quality, but still high priced in my opinion. I was looking for a replacement for a Wamsutta firm and was excited for these to arrive. Although these are good quality pillows, I wouldn't consider them "overfilled" or firm. By morning they're flat. The picture showing something similar to a bowling ball on the pillow is a bit misleading, but worked on me!
