This is one of the best infered box heaters I've ever used . Can feel the heat blowing out at an acceptable distance and fan is pretty powerful. Temperature sensor works great and puts out great amount of heat for a medium to large room . the thermostat click is little louder than others I've used but isn't to loud either . Works great on auto temperature shuts off and turns on like it should. It has a timer but I've never used those as I like setting temp and forgetting about it . Has a cleanable air filter and remote too . I would recommend this brand and may buy another one for my gameroom . I've used these kinda heaters for years and have experienced many brands . The most common issues about these style heaters with other brands are issues with temperature sensor being incorrect and or not coming on when temp drops because it's not reading the drop in temp correctly . some just don't put out hot heat and or have a weak fan . I heartily recommend this heater. the Dr Heater 1500 watt heater. It has great heat and fan output and keeps my living area warm. It is easy to adjust the temperature up or down as needed. The automatic shut off on the heater is great and the fan keeps blowing the stored heat out at a lesser heat and fan speed to maintain the temperatue set until more heat is needed and the heat element kicks on again. The fan is very quiet and I don't have to use earphones when watching TV to keep the volume from annoying the neighbors. I use this new one in the space between bedrooms and have had to reduce the temperature so I don't sweat at night. The old one I use in the living area and it keeps that area nice and warm I bought two of these in 2018 and used them in a 500+ sq ft apt. One of the heaters is like this new one I just got. The second one did not have the heat or fan output but at the time that was OK. I used the better one in the living area and the lesser one in the bedroom where I did not need so much heat. I am sure if I had wanted to I could have returned the lesser one but at the time it did what I needed it to do and did not want the hassel. I now have over 700+ sq ft. and after the last two winters where I have had to layer on layers to keep warm in addition to wrapping up in down throws I finally got out the heaters to try to keep warm. Again the lesser one did not put out the heat or fan power I needed. After using these two for a few days I decidied to replace the lesser one and am now writing about the new one I got. It has the heat and fan power I need to keep my place warm without the layers and the down throws. I like the fact that the fans are quiet and the temperature is automatic, shutting off the heating element when not needed but the fan continues to throw out the stored heat maintaing a comfortable. temperature. I have put the lesser heater away for possible future use should I need a back up for the older heater until I can replace it. I can not address the electricity used as I have not received an electric bill yet for using the heaters. I have turned off my furnace and I enjoy the lack of noise from the furnace and its fan. I also enjoy not having the dust kicked out by the furnace. At my age I need to be kept warm and will willing pay for more electricity if it is needed. I hate the high electric bills I have in the winter when I don't get the heat I need. Rather long winded review but as I said in the first output this is a great heater and the price is very affordable. Read more

My house has propane heat and a faulty furnace so I bought this little guy to to keep us warm when our heats not working and to keep propane costs down. We have this running all day, we turn it off at night sometimes depends how cold it is outside. It really cranks out some heat we keep it in the middle of the house and whatever direction its point in stays over 70 degrees. If I had 2 I could heat my whole house and not use any propane. It is really holding up well and putting out a lot of heat for how much we use this. It’s also relatively quiet, no smells. It doesn’t oscillate but it’s on wheels so that’s handy for sure, the remote is also handy but we don’t use it much. Read more
