I absolutely love these Docs. They are true to size (I wear a ladies USA size 8), and just beautiful. After wearing them around the house for one evening, I wore them to work for a full day. They are a teeny bit tight across the bridge, but the boots are breaking in nicely. Another reviewer suggested putting a tennis ball in the boot to help it stretch when not worn, and I might do that. But honestly, I am willing to ride out that slight tightness even without some additional work to break the boots in. The boots are sturdy, yet so lightweight, and the support they provide for my feet is incredible. Check out the pictures I submitted with this review. Aren't they pretty? The floral embroidery on the leather is such a nice touch. I've already picked up Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to keep these beauties in great shape. I'm so happy I treated myself and ordered a pair. I love my Dr Marten's! I have worn these boots since high school and this is my 3rd pair (I'm 60 years old!) That's 45 years and I just purchased these for a 3rd time. I still have the other 2 pairs, but wanted a newer pair for nicer casual wear. They last forever and the comfort and wear is phenomenal. The price of this purchase was reasonable, especially if you shop on the Dr. Marten website! Well worth the price since they last forever. Easy to clean (I also use the protectant treatment), great for everyday wear. You can wear them for trail walking, hiking and just running errands ect. I can wear them with a dress, shorts and pants and still be stylish. Very versatile and like I said before they last forever. I am a dedicated fan and will be buying a pair of the shoes as well. You can't go wrong with this investment! Comfortable, no break in time, true to size and your feet will not hurt after long wearing time. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Marten footwear! I am very pleased with this purchase so far. I am a boot girl, if it goes on my foot its a boot. I am used to breaking in a good stiff boot. That being said, while a little new stiff, it is leather after all, these are some of the most comfortable boots straight from the box I have ever put on my feet. I normally wear a 7 and these fit true to size. After years of martial arts the ball of my foot has widened which sometimes makes fitting a boot a problem, not these boots! I also have significant nerve damage in my left foot that can make walking painful in some boots, again, not these boots! These are my second pair of docs so I just love the girly roses, they make me smirk. Great pair of boots, highly recommended. Read more
Shoes look great, but one of the laces has one end burned or melted. We like the boots and would like to avoid the return and repurchase process if we can get new laces replaced. Read more
These boots are soooo cute and comfortable!! I had a shiny pair back in the 90’s that hurt my feet so bad so I was a little hesitant because they aren’t any half sizes. Depending on the shoes, I’m a 7 or 7.5. I got the 7’s and they’re perfect! Not too tight! They look absolutely adorable with dresses. Comfortable enough to wear all day without any blisters and I didn’t even need to “break them in”! Read more
