The topper is a little expensive, and I think it's kind of a pain in the butt to clean. It fits relatively well but did seem like it would have problems with some setups. We are delighted with this purchase! This mattress topper eliminated hip and back pain and gave a restful sleep with no more frequent night time awakenings. The mattress topper needs to expand for 24-48 hours after being put on the bed for the first time, so be prepared to sleep somewhere else for 1-2 nights before enjoying a peaceful and pain free slumber. I already have a memory foam mattress, but it's not a particularly good one. So, I thought I'd add some luxury with a topper. My tendency is to get like a huge one, but instead, I went a bit smaller. It arrives smooshed into a roll, and it takes "48 hours" (their words-- mine was good by the next night) to fully un-smoosh itself. I think it's actually fine right away, but they don't want to hear you complaining about until it's been two days. It's really two parts-- there's just a big square of foam, and then something like a mattress pad (though, with its own softness) that goes over it to hold it in place. It definitely adds comfort-- I think I find the top layer a bigger change than the foam layer. My only challenge with it is that it's not slightly larger, to make it easier to stretch over my bed (long story, but not easy to do). It doesn't seem to make any difference to heat-- I'm just as comfortable temperature-wise. I can't really speak to what I think the lifetime of the foam will be-- it seems sturdy enough, but the cover layer is definitely a decent build quality. To install, you just lay the foam layer down, and then put the cover over it. It's not too difficult, because the foam doesn't slide around. It was certainly worth the price. Side note, this is a product that comes from Asia, and in all of the printed materials, they refer to this as a "mattress". I couldn't quite imagine sleeping on this by itself. Read more

Not what I expected. This mattress cover isn't awful, which is why I gave it 3 stars. The memory foam was comfortable, though it's important to note that there are different kinds of memory foam and this one is most definitely not a high grade. Medium at best. The initial pictures on the product page are misleading. The memory foam is 2" high, but the picture of the corner of the cover that's lifted up and over is NOT 2". They've made it look thicker; if you look at 2" on a ruler you'll see that this picture is misleading. Then there's the top cover. It's soft but not anywhere near as thick as the pictures show. Even after a couple of weeks, the top cover is flat. The initial pictures show a puffy, thick topper but what you get is closer to the pictures when you scroll further down. And, if you look at the pictures that some of the reviewers have posted, you'll get a very good idea of what that cover looks like. It's limp, lifeless and not puffy at all. As a matter of fact, the reviewers who posted those pictures gave it 5 stars! How could you put that cover on your bed, see how flat the cover is, and then say that it's very comfy and just what you were looking for. This mattress cover wasn't what I was expecting because I knew that, for the price I was paying, I wasn't going to get a phenomenal product. But I was expecting much more than what I got.
