This portable A/C unit has a sleek look and works really well. After unpacking it, it needs to stay upright for 24 hours before first use. Setup is relatively easy. Remove all the tape pieces, attach the exhaust tube and insert into a window opening. Our windows are narrower, so we had to cut the extension piece of the window adapter; otherwise it wouldn't fit. I like that the vent cover automatically opens and closes when the unit turns on. The unit itself is fairly easy to move and is quieter than another one we had, which is great. It also doesn't cycle as much as the other so we get more consistent cooling. The remote is a handy feature which also has a 'follow me' function so the A/C will reach the temperature where the remote is placed, not where the A/C unit is located. The added modes are also nice - dehumidifying, fan control, and a timer. Overall, we're very happy with this A/C which helped us get through several heat waves this summer. Read more

This AC unit has been great for my sleep! I am either hot or cold and with this the room is so comfortable. I like that it has a remote control too but hardly use it. The size is big, but it's to be expected. The hose takes up a bit of room too so you'll need to take that into account with your space. I have been using this until for the last 4 months and it has worked perfectly. It is not easy to move up or down stairs, but with it's wheels it is simple to move from room to room. I'm very happy with this. My central AC went out last year, and with the heat this year, my house was unbearable between the heat and the humidity. This was quick and easy to setup, and its simple design looks nice and doesn't stand our obvious in the room. It is fairly heavy, so yo may need 2 people to get it in the house and unpacked. It seems to be very well constructed, and does work well for what it is. Does it cool as well as central AC? No. But i wouldn't expect it to. Does it work very well for what it is? Absolutely. I have it in my living room, and if I keep the bedrooms closed off (don't use one, and the other has a window unit) it keeps the main part of a small house a fairly comfortable from a temp and humidity standpoint that it isn't unbearable to be in anymore with a couple fans going to keep air circulating. It isn't terribly noisy either. No more so than a window unit, but definitely moves more air than a window unit. Very, very pleased with this. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic working 14,000 BTU ASHRAE rated portable air conditioner. It has dual motors. It cools up to 450 Square feet. Besides being an air conditioner, it is also a dehumidifier that works great also. And the fan blows air like it is supposed to, very nice. Set up was very easy and the unit came with everything I needed to put it in my sliding glass window. It is easy to move with the wheels, and the noise level isn’t bad even at full speed. I got this one for a renovation house where the air conditioner is not adequate in all the rooms and am quite happy with it's performance as a 10k btu unit - it does the job just fine. There are many of this size unit out there - at the current price level I'm not impressed with the overall value. Noise is normal for these units - not as nice as central air ducting but a little noise versus being hot and uncomfortable is fine with me. Not the smallest unit on the market, but a reasonable size.
