I’m a side sleeper and have had an extremely difficult time finding the right pillow but this is really working pretty for me. I removed about 1/3 of the stuffing material (very small memory foam type shards - not chunky like My Pillow which I’ve also tried and returned) and stored the stuffing in an old zippered pillowcase so I can add or remove more stuffing, to continue to tweak the fullness to my liking. For me, it’s a balance of my pillow feeling a little soft and squishy but also supportive and this adjustable pillow does that for me - I lay on my side and kind of push it into the crook of my neck for support, so I don’t have to sleep with my hand there for support. I’m a hot sleeper and this doesn’t run too warm for me but I’m still always be a pillow/flipper to get the cool side. I’m EXTREMELY smell sensitive (toxic smells send me over the edge) but there is no odor to this pillow. The pillow is also double lined - the inside zippered lining holds the stuffing and then there’s an another quality thick and soft zippered lining over that which makes the pillow feel smooth. If you’ve been struggling with pillows either being too thick and firm or too flat, this is the right choice to be able to adjust the pillow to your liking! Read more

I had a Queen sized “My Pillow” for years, and it was on the firm side. I love it, but we recently got a king bed which meant new pillows so I ordered a king My Pillow in firm and they either changed their style or something because it was not firm at all. I didn’t want to keep playing musical pillows but wasn’t sure what else to do. Then we were on vacation and at the Air BnB they had this bamboo type pillow. OMG, it was heavenly!!! When I got home I immediately ordered one and I have found my pillow! It’s very firm, but not hard, if that makes sense. I still feel like I’m using a pillow and the neck support is awesome. I followed the directions and put in dryer for 15 minutes and it did poof up. But, I then had to break up the inner foamy stuff as it was kind of in solid chunks. Once that was all broken up, the pillow fluffed up to its full form self and I didn’t even take any out because it worked for me. But, you can definitely take out what you don’t want. Just be careful because there’s a lot of it and it could easily fall out everywhere Highly recommend this pillow!! Read more

It’s very comfortable and long. It’s doesn’t have that strong memory foam smell at all. It’s a little too plump initially, but you can easily remove as much of the foam as needed to create the perfect plumpness. Read more

I have to blame the 'memory foam' stuffing in this bamboo pillow for my neck problem. It is too dense and FIRM and did not allow me to properly readjust my head during the nite. I woke up with a slight neckache for 2 days running...but on the 3rd day, I had a real problem with a STIFF NECK that my dr could only prescribe strong pain pills, using a collar and a heating pad for. It's been several weeks and I am still in moderate pain, even buying a 'cervical' pillow to help my sleep. Have never had this problem before. But I believe now that the natural feather pillows are the best for comfort and maneuverability during the nite. UPDATE: 1/22/24 -- was contacted by the vendor who had read my review and he offered me a full credit for the pillow. I did appreciate his reaching out to me and was surprised that the company was so responsive to my review. In my case, I reviewed the product months after I got it so it was too late to return the pillow. But it shows this company wants to make sure its customers are satisfied and still stands by its product. Read more
