Mattress cover worth the cost.
After several hours of research I found this mattress cover which met all my requirements: it is well-made and well-reviewed; soft, quiet and comfortable to sleep on; not a topper but a cover, so it easily fits into the washer (cold water regular cycle) and dryer (low temp); the price was reasonable and delivery reliable. A faint initial odor vanished after washing. I can’t comment on dust-mite protection as the mattress is encased in a zippered cover, nor on water-proof as it hasn’t been tested, but it does have a bottom layer that looks waterproof. I plan to buy more as needed for other beds in my home. Read more

Exactly what I was looking for....
I don't know much about mattress protectors but I knew I wanted something waterproof since I have a toddler and something that was similar to the ones I was replacing. The ones I had were a requirement from the furniture store I bought them from and I felt like they were good quality & served their purpose well. That being said I was hesitant to replace them because there are so many types to choose from. I picked these and absolutely love them.
