I purchased this immersion blender for my soap making. It has just the right amount of speed in bringing my soap to emulsification. However, with that said it does not hold up to the lye process of soap making and the lye eats through the plastic. So, soap makers beware, you will need an immersion blender with a stainless-steel shaft. I think as far as food preparation goes it would be perfect for around the kitchen. Read more

This little thing worked perfectly when I used it to make a batch of my homemade lotion. It was the perfect size and power. Anything too big or too powerful would have made the batch splash all over the place so this was just what I was looking for. I make 500 grams of lotion at a time and using this worked so much better and blended the product better than other smaller mixers I've been trying to use. When I tried to use my other immersion blender it made a mess because it was too big bulky and powerful. My lotion came out perfect! Read more
