I absolutely love my Elite Gourmet EHC-5055! This little gem has a super small profile that fits anywhere—countertop, dorm room, or even a tiny RV kitchen. It’s a breeze to clean and store, with simple inputs and effortless operation that gets me brewing in seconds. Perfect for solo sips or sharing a couple cups with a friend, it whips up traditional fast-brew coffee that’s rich and delicious—honestly, indistinguishable from my fancy $250 machine back home. And the portability? Game-changer! I toss it in a bag for work commutes or weekend trips without a second thought. For the price, it’s unbeatable value—reliable, no-fuss quality that punches way above its weight. If you’re tired of bulky brewers, grab this one. You won’t regret it! Read more

The machine does its job, and honestly that already puts it ahead of half the appliances in my kitchen that exist purely to mock me. It brews coffee. It brews it fast enough. It tastes like coffee. That’s the holy trinity. Now, does it spill a little when you pour? Sure. But before we declare the coffee maker guilty, let’s acknowledge the possibility that my hand shakes like I’m trying to defuse a bomb while detoxing from a three-day caffeine binge. Hard to blame the machine when I’m over here gripping the carafe like a raccoon trying to steal shiny objects. The “Pause N Serve” feature is clutch. I can yank the pot mid-brew like an impatient gremlin, and the machine just sighs and lets me. The reusable filter is nice too, because at least something in my life is both economical and environmentally responsible. Overall: Great little coffee maker, makes enough to keep me from committing unspeakable morning violence, and only spills when I forget how to use my own hands. Could be the product. Could be me. Probability leans strongly toward me. 5 stars, minus half a star for exposing my inability to pour liquid like a functional adult. Read more

I have been using this BigGourmet coffee maker for a while and I think it is an excellent choice if you are looking for something inexpensive, simple and functional. He has no bells or whistles, but he fulfills his intention of making a good coffee in the morning. The heating plate does a good job of keeping the coffee warm for a long time after brewing it. Very good for the price. The coffee pot has a small spout, so pour slowly. Cheap, but makes good coffee. Better than some more expensive coffee makers, like one I bought two weeks ago that flooded our kitchen several times, so I am using the cheaper lite Gourmet again and liking it. Read more

Huh, mixed reviews. Well, I have NO issues with this brewer. From start to finish, no issues. --Plug in. --I fill the reservoir to the max (5 cups) with cold water --I add 5 TBS of ground coffee to the filter basket. --Make sure drip is over the coffee --Turn on via simple ON/OFF switch --Brews quickly. --POURING? no problem. Never ever a spill or dribble. EVER. --5 cups fills a couple of mugs. I dont let the coffee sit on the burner as there is no warming option (nor expected one on this size coffee maker). --Filter basket is easy to clean. I tap the spent grounds on side of garbage can, then run the filter under faucet to clear out rest. Easy peasy. Could use a paper filter if that seems complicated. --Maybe make another pot if I need it :), or I store it away until next time. I happen to have a Kcup machine, capsule machine, French press, pour over brewers, a large capacity drip brewer, and this 5 cupper. I dont have everything sitting out. I tend to grab for a kcup or for this small brewer. Just works for me. Glad I bought this. I was in the mood for drip brewed coffee, and didnt want to use my 12 cupper. My old 5 cupper was long gone, so I decided to just order this. At sub $20 I thought it a reasonable purchase. Lately I have only been making drip coffee in this, and it has been wonderful. Nice to use up some bags of coffee that I had been ignoring. Read more

LIving alone in a downsized apartment, this coffee maker fits right in to my "mini-lifestyle". It should, for me, be a FIVE STAR purchase Bought it in July of 2024. In August of 2025 (13 months), the heating element died (the water does not heat and the warmer plate is cold as ice. -- it is useless, so 5 stars for being just what I wanted, and zero stars for dying on me in 13 months...oh well, maybe smeone else will have better luck.
