The EMART 2-pack 135W photography LED bulbs are a strong upgrade if you want more output from standard E26/E27 softboxes or umbrella sockets without moving to bulkier panel lights. The big advantage is flexibility: you can dial brightness from very low to full power and adjust color temperature from warm 3000K to cool 6500K, which makes it easier to match ambient light, balance skin tones, or switch from cozy indoor looks to clean daylight setups. The preset warm/white/cold modes are handy when you need quick changes during a shoot, and the included remotes make adjustments easier when the lights are up on stands or tucked into softboxes. Heat management also looks thoughtfully addressed with an aluminum housing, which matters for higher-output bulbs being used for longer video takes. Pros: High-output 135W design is well-suited for softboxes and umbrellas that need strong illumination; stepless dimming and wide 3000K–6500K range make it easy to fine-tune a scene; remote control is convenient for on-stand adjustments without interrupting a shoot; standard E26/E27 base works with a lot of common photography fixtures; energy-efficient compared with incandescent-style photo bulbs, with improved heat dissipation for longer use. Cons: CRI > 80 is acceptable for many setups but may not satisfy users doing critical color work where higher CRI is preferred; the bulbs are larger than typical household LEDs, so clearance can be tight in some enclosed fixtures or smaller softboxes; remote batteries aren’t included, and remote range can vary depending on obstacles and studio layout. This review is for the "EMART 2Pack 135W Photography Light Bulb with Remote Control, 3000-6500K Dimmable Color Temperature LED Bulbs in E26/E27 Socket for Umbrella/Softbox Lighting Kit, Photo Video Studio, Portrait Shooting." I had an issue with the first set I received, but the seller stands behind their product. The lights don't get super hot at low to moderate intensity which is the normal setting for my small studio. However, they will get very warm over time at high brightness. These have a very even brightness. LEDs blend very well- I can't see each LED's intensity show through the diffuser. I can adjust temperature and brightness just fine using the remote. Be aware this is an IR remote, so if you have other devices that work with remotes, you may want to make sure the light's remote won't interfere with them. My HDMI switcher and audio extractor's IR detector picked up the remote so I had to temporarily cover it up while adjusting the lights. One other caution. These lights don't remember their settings, so if you turn these off, you'll need to re-program them accordingly with the remote. These work well with soft boxes, or as standalone lighting, depending on your setup. Price is reasonable. Worthy of recommendation imho. Read more

The media could not be loaded. These light bulbs are very high quality and are perfect for photography, especially portraits and product/advertising. At 135W, they are extremely bright but the shade is perfect at dispersing the light and eliminating any glares. I use them in my soft boxes and they are great as they don’t get hot and don’t use much electricity so I can have them on all day. Each bulb comes with its own remote too which is very convenient when wanting to get different shades of light from the same direction or when far away from the soft box. They seem a bit expensive but EMART is known for their quality photography products and it’s well worth the price. Read more
