Hot Mess—June 24, 2025
This air conditioner works well, and works at the power level advertised for the lowest-ac setting. It has 2 ac blower levels, low and hight. I have a way of measuring output, and the lowest blower setting with the AC on used roughly 825watts per hour. The highest setting uses much more, at approximately 1.15kw, maxing out at 1.23kw. I tested this in an RV with an isolated power station where I could measure energy usage, so I’m confident in those numbers. I also tested it in the very worst conditions - it was a dry 105 degrees in the full sun, so my RV was probably around 115 degrees when we started. In 3 hours it got the temp down to 91, which was impressive, given the really severe heat, combined with the reheating of the shell of the camper that never went into any shade. As far as performance, I noticed a couple of things - not the biggest deal, but worth noting: First, the unit will only tell the current temp if it’s in dehumidifying mode. When in AC mode, it only shows the set temp. Also the vents on this unit are kind of basic - you manually point them to where you want the air, and only about 2/3rds of the mouth is actually pumping out air. This thing is SUPER heavy, and seems heavier than you’d expect. I do think it’s pretty good on noise for as hard as it works. The hose that came with it is very long, plenty for my needs, and the window vent adapter is convenient. I like that you can use the water tray for humidity collection, or use the hose. I would recommend getting an insulator for the hot air hose, since that does get hot. I didn’t get to confirm what happens when it gets down to the set temp - may have to update this if it doesn’t perform well. I haven’t had that happen yet - no fault of the machine’s though, either I’m in a severe heat situation and cooling down, or more likely than not I can go jump in a lake instead of staying inside, ha. I’m happy with this machine. It seems like it’s going to work great for my needs and the extras are nice too. Read more

I've only had this up for a few days during our heat wave and I'm pretty impressed. I was worried with the cooling areas being so low, but it hasn't been a problem. It has levers to go both up and straightforward, and it has three levers to choose to go toward the bed or toward the wall to help not be overly cold. I also really like the sleep timer. That's a little bit of a godsend. I thought only having two speeds would bother me, but no not at all. This was an excellent price for an excellent product. Now I just want batteries for the remote. Not real strong in our garage. Gets up to 84 in there and on max it brings it to about 78 and occasionally 76. It will work for what I need. The drainage is an issue with water and drain plug not being real convenient when you are trying to drain in into a container. it is just way too low. I'm still going to give it 4 stars because it works, there was not much to prep it and in the right environment it may cool well. Just making you aware. Read more

This has saved my life on the extremely hot days! Perfect for small size rooms. Very easy to install and work. It works very well when used with a ceiling fan... cools the room much quicker and keeps it cool! A little bit noisy but manageable. It was a great investment! Read more

Shipped in perfect condition, it keeps my master bedroom cool. It’s not loud if you don’t mind white noise. Sleep mode automatically dims light and goes to low fan. Even with the warning labels I feel safe. The unit is smaller than my tower fan. Auto on and off, efficient for room and almost no change in electricity bill. I was running $260 in April with my HVAC system that isn’t working properly. back down to $150 in May worth the money up front, air flow is strong and cold. No leaks in AC mode. The reviews I read made me give it a try, not disappointed for this price range and quality. My husky is happy too. Read more

The instructions are awful. They leave out what to do with parts like COMPLETELY and the thing is leaking water (or SOME FLUID) alllll throughout my rug so I can’t even use the AC and it’s all I have! There’s parts I don’t know what to do with and I have no money to buy another AC and I have a 6 month old baby! My rug is SOAKED. I followed the instructions THROUGH AND THROUGH and every drain is shut that is visible so I don’t know why something is POURING OUT when I turn it on! DO NOT BUY!!! It has all over the box “if you have any problems and we hope you won’t, call this number for great service” … I feel like they purposely leave shot out just so you have to pay for their service!!! DO NOT BUY ITS A HOAXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!! They ripped this single mom off and now I do not know what to do! It probably cost money to return it so… idk just please don’t buy it. I don’t want anyone else getting ripped off by these people… there’s not a single name for the company on ANY PART OF THIS! Not the ac, no the manual, not the box, and the name on Amazon? Not even a real product or company so I can’t even look up how to fix it online or anything! They make it so it does NOT work and you HAVE to pay them! It’s FRAUD A HOAX DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOTTTT BUY THIS!!!! DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY AT ALL!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars…. They don’t deserve a single star. I will be following up later today with a video! Read more

This portable air conditioner was price comparable to others maybe even a little cheaper. It took a little longer to get here due to I ordered over a holiday. Once it arrived I received everything I needed to hook it up. It took 15 minutes at the very most, very easy instillation! It cooled my apartment very fast. Comes with a remote and you can do all the function with that or right on the machine. It is not a huge machine and doesn't take up a lot of space. I have a 2 bedroom apartment and it does cool the entire space. Very pleased with this purchase! Read more
