The wireless bluetooth white Evoluent vertical Mouse is great. Easy to get used to and really has ...

Mary MccainJune 18, 2016

The wireless bluetooth white Evoluent vertical Mouse is great. Easy to get used to and really has stopped my hand, wrist, and shoulder pain from being on the computer a long time. I now use a wired Evoluent one at work on a Dell, and I use my white wireless one at home with my MAC because I still use the computer at home and play games. It really is better than the "flat" mouses. I started using these vertical mouses about 2 months ago at both work and home. Love them. Make sure you get the "bluetooth" one if you want wireless. Otherwise, you have to use a USB thing that you stick into a USB port so the mouse can pair with the computer. So if your computer is bluetooth enabled you'd want to get the wireless bluetooth one, not the wireless USB one. Also, the wired one works great too. Read more

NO connection!

E G DMarch 30, 2017

After surgeries for a complex elbow fracture, my occupational therapist recommended the Evoluent Vertical Mouse. After eight months and many packs of AA batteries, I am thoroughly disgusted with this mouse. Yes, it is more comfortable to hold, and yes, it eases arm and wrist pain. But the connectivity issues are terrible. Every 2 or 3 minutes, the mouse is "Not Connected" and I find myself clicking and shaking my hand and jiggling with it over and over. I'm a college professor who uses course management software for all the grading of writing. I bought the Anker model for my office and it works great. I certainly wish I hadn't paid $90 for this evoluent mouse. Don't buy it! Read more

anti rsi.

Adam ChiltonSeptember 9, 2013

I've been having some serious wrist/forearm pains from overuse on the computer. I was going to physio, which didn't help at all just gave temporary relief. I went to the doctor, got my nerves tested, got xrays, blood tests, even went to a plastic surgeon to talk about soft tissues! I read an article on WIRED about "RSI" or "Repetitive Strain Injury" and it made sense of this madness. Basically, you gotta stop doing that repetitive behaviour, which was what I was told, but that doesn't really help at all because I work on my computer. Fortunately I found this mouse and you can feel the relief in tension in the wrist right away compared to a normal mouse. I haven't been using it long, but it feels much more comfortable. I also got software called "Anti RSI" which schedules little breaks so you can shake out the arms a bit. I haven't bought a ergo keyboard yet but that's the trifecta in this whole mess. First step though, this mouse. It's a bit pricey but it's nothing compared to the "CLAW!" Also as a bonus the mouse has a lot of buttons to program which makes computer usage a lot more efficient. Easy choice. Stop reading this and get the mouse already. You're forearms will thank you. Read more

A must have for mac users!, If you're desperate

T GopalakrishnanOctober 4, 2017

Cured my wrist pain in just one week of use. I was worried that the connectivity would be an issue but the mouse has not messed up as of yet. It is a little bit large but this is the best vertical bluetooth mouse on the market. I love the additional button customizations. Update after 2 months using: Mouse is almost perfect except for the fact that it is INCREDIBLY laggy. It get very very irritating and at times almost unusable. Mouse is very imprecise and has weak connection all the time. Its unfortunately the only bluetooth vertical mouse for mac on the market so I'm stuck. Read more

Best vertical mouse I've tried, lasted years

VeraSeptember 24, 2024

After searching across the web for vertical mice and trying out a half dozen options, this was the only reliable brand that resolved my RSI. I really like most options including the wireless connectively, pointing, and clicking. I am replacing this after about 3 years because I dislodged the scrollwheel and it's tough to repair. If you treat this mouse well and clean it, it looks and works as new after years. I only wish that were quiet click and quiet scrolling features across all Evoluent mice. That would be a nice addition in the next version. Take care to avoid accidentally triggering the thumb buttons, as that will get annoying. I believe you can change this in the Device Manager settings. Read more

the perfect mouse

Murray EisnerJune 25, 2016

I have CDIP which is a neurological disease related to muscular sclerosis. My fingers are very very weak and I need to use a mouse all day. I have been perching mouse after mouse after mouse after mouse looking for the most comfortable and easiest mouse to use. I use Photoshop and also required an accurate mouse. I like to read on the web and a good scrollbar is important to me. This mouse seems to do it all. It is very easy to click the scrollbar is highly accurate and easy to control and it really seems to have a great deal of precision. It is also the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. It connected up very easily to my Surface 4. I really cannot highly recommend this product enough even for a person who does not have issues with their hands. This is just a great great product. After having a lot of pain in my hand, ...

Deven SJanuary 20, 2016

After having a lot of pain in my hand, I figured I would give this mouse a try. It does work very well to relieve pain in my hand and wrist. However the bluetooth is flawed a bit. It disconnects from my computer often which is quite frustrating. It does reconnect, but you end up with a 4 second lag sometimes. I'd like to adjust my review. While this mouse did help tremendously with my hand the fact of the matter is that it disconnects so frequently, that it's basically useless. Now, I'm having issues with batteries not working. I've gone through an entire box of AA batteries, and all this thing does is blink red. I can't have an entire pack of batteries not work. While it does reconnect to the computer, the lag grows with each time that it disconnects itself. I'd rather have the pain in my hand, then deal with the constant disconnecting and reconnection. I would not recommend this unless you have more patients than every one in the world combined. Totally disappointed in this product. Read more
