My third mouse. One died after 10 years. I now have 2 attached to 2 different computers. Wonderful product to avoid carpal syndrome. Read more

Great ergonomic mouse, good tracking, Bluetooth compatibility

Clay BApril 7, 2023

This is a great mouse, and ergonomic. My main complaint is for the Bluetooth version their mouse Windows software doesn't work. This is needed to reprogram button functionality, something I find important for this 3-button design. Fortunately there is a workaround in that open-source XMouse software can fill this role without difficulty. Also this mouse uses Bluetooth 3.1, which is really, really old. Come on, put out a modern design, it's a $100 mouse! But it is ergonomic, your elbow and wrist will thank you. Read more

Great mouse for people that love vertical mice !

BenApril 24, 2023

I have tried other vertical mice, including the all too famous Logitech one. None of them do it like Evoluent does. I had one to use at work that was ~$50 about 10 years ago and wanted to find one just like it. Here I am 10 years later and I still love the feel of the mouse and it looks so sleek. I got the bluetooth version and this one looks sick and feels great. Best buy ! and it's great for my arm health. Thank you ! Read more

Not much of a bluetooth mouse when the bluetooth doesn't work!

Alan SmitheeMarch 24, 2015

The bluetooth on this mouse is just downright awful. I've had the mouse for 3 months and now it won't even connect via bluetooth; however the wireless logitech mouse I've had for 3 years still works like a charm. If I could give this mouse no stars I would. I bought this mouse because I've been having some wrist issues and after all that I read I figured this to be the solution. I like the design of the mouse and all its functions, but that is only when it works. I would return it and get my money back, but my return date ended last month. Now I'm the fool with an expensive paper weight. Read more

Scroll wheel and left click issues

R. SteeleMay 2, 2022

I used my VerticalMouse 3 for years without issue. I loved that mouse. But eventually, the coating began to wear off and I had to buy a new one. I purchased a VM4RM, and immediately there were problems with the left click button registering as double-clicks, making the mouse unusable. I returned it for a replacement, and the next one worked for a little while, but in less than a year the scroll wheel sensor stopped working correctly (scrolling down would scroll up, and sometimes it wouldn't register scrolls at all). I exchanged it for another one under warranty, and within a year I began to have the same issue with the scroll wheel sensor. I should also note that they haven't had MacOS drivers in quite some time, so you're not going to get any of the advanced programmable features it offers unless you're using a version prior to Catalina. Evoluent has best-in-breed ergonomics, and I used to be an evangelist for these mice. However, at this price point, the hardware quality issues and outdated software are simply unacceptable. I can no longer recommend Evoluent mice in good faith. Pretty disappointed, and reluctantly looking at other manufacturers to replace my current VM4RM since the scroll wheel issues have made using this mouse nothing short of a frustrating experience. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable to use

Gregory LawrenceMay 23, 2018

This mouse has been a great experience. I find it extremely comfortable. Granted, I have large hands - if you have smaller hands a different mouse might be better for you. After using it for a few months my wrist pain is gone. The accuracy is fine, once I got the settings dialed in a bit. The battery life is also fine, just remember to turn it off at night. The material isn't super high quality and leaves hand marks pretty easily, so expect to clean it once in a while. I mapped the thumb keys to be "Copy" and "Paste" which is pretty nifty. I also mapped the bottom key to be auto double click, which is helpful as well. In general it is a huge improvement over my previous "Ergonomic" mouse. I highly recommend it! Read more

Tracking is a bit jumpy sometimes

Peiqi TangJune 22, 2020

Sometimes while I was moving the mouse, the tracking froze a bit and the mouse icon on the screen stayed there for a second before it got refreshed, resulting in the icon suddenly jumped to the new location. I tried every method given by the support website and the issue still exists. Read more
