I’m in my 70’s and have been using electric shavers since my father gave me his old Norelco double-header back in the 60’s. I’ve tried a couple of others over the years, but always migrated back to the Norelco brands (latest is a Triple-head Arcitec). I tried one other Foil shaver (Remington) about 15 years ago and wasn’t impressed enough to buy it. When Amazon gave me the opportunity to review this shaver, I was somewhat skeptical - can anything beat my Norelco shavers? So - upon opening the package, I found a very lightweight shaver with a protective cover and slip in bag. It includes a short (actually too short) USB-C cable for charging - you will need your own charger port however. I charged it up and gave it a try on my 2-day growth. Hold the PHONE! This thing mowed through in record time! I have pretty sensitive skin on my neck and it has always been easy to razor-burn, but not with this shaver! I could not believe how fast and clean of a shave I got with it! The only down-side is that there’s no trimmer for side-burns or mustache, but I have my old Norelco for that - because this baby is now number 1 in my shaver drawer.. But wait! Where did it go? Are you kidding me! Mrs. Big-Foot just commandeered my new shaver! She loves it! She loves how fast it works and is so easy on her sensitive legs! (Ooooooo those legs!!!) okay - back on topic. It’s a dry shaver - meaning you will need to take off the screen and brush it out gently every couple of days. No rinsing this one under the faucet (kind of a bummer but not a show stopper). A single charge lasts me well over a week - even with the Mrs Hijacking it periodically. This shaver is not crazy about doing more than a 4 day stubble - but it still doesn’t yank out every 3rd whisker like some I know (yeah, I’m looking at you Norelco!).. This shaver is great, it included accessories like the charging cord, cleaning brush, and the carrying case. The shaver itself has a sleek look with buttons for removing the foils and the power button. The buttons are easy to press and feels ergonomic. The first time I used this, I did have slight irritation on my neck, but I think that was just due to the fact that it was new and I was probably also pressing too hard. The shave was extremely close and smooth. I have used it for about a week so far and have been very happy with the close shaves. The irritation did not continue after the first shave. I did find that using shaving cream helped make the shave go a little smoother also. I have thicker facial hair, so that also is why I may have needed the shaving cream. The noise level is somewhere around a medium, it isn't exactly quiet but not obtrusive either. Compared to my other foil razor, it is just slightly louder from the vibration, really not an issue. I like that the charging is usb-c, it makes it very convenient for when I bring this traveling. For the price, this shaver is well worth it and will provide lots of convenient close shaves at home and abroad. Read more

This is a compact double foil electric shaver that does a pretty good job for everyday shaving. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and simple to use. The dual foil heads glide smoothly and give a fairly close shave without pulling, which is great for quick touch-ups or daily use. Cleaning it is very straightforward. The foil head pops on and off easily, and it comes with a small cleaning brush so you can quickly remove any hair buildup inside. That makes maintenance simple and quick. One thing I was a little disappointed about is the front panel on the shaver. It looks like it should be some kind of LED or LCD display, but it doesn’t actually show anything like battery percentage or power level. It feels like that space could have easily been used for a battery indicator, which would have been really helpful. Another small annoyance is the protective cap. Sometimes it sticks a bit when removing it, and if you pull too hard the foil head can come off along with the cap. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed while using it. The unit also comes with a cleaning brush and a small travel pouch, which is nice if you want to keep everything together or bring it along when traveling. Overall, this is a solid foil shaver for the price. It’s simple, easy to clean, and works well.
