Customers find these reading glasses to be of good quality, with one noting they're better than progressive lens prescription glasses, and appreciate their functionality, particularly the multi-focus feature.

I really like these multi focal inexpensive glasses! The magnification to order is whatever you need for close reading; the glasses have that level at the bottom of the lenses, but it graduates to less magnification (about half as much) at the top of the lenses. There is no line in these multifocal glasses. They are perfect for me as a musician; sometimes the music is held close to my face (bottom view) but sometimes down on a stand (upper view) and looking over the frame to see the conductor (no magnification). For handbells, with the music on a table, I have to use a pair of less magnification. My only complaint is that I wish these lenses graduated to no magnification at the top so I wouldn’t have to look over the frame. As for the frame, this Wes model has metal around the lenses, other frame styles have plastic rims that become brittle with age and break (caveat emptor). Read more
The glasses are well made. Stylish color. Crystal clear lenses. Durable frame with spring hinges. Multifocas works best. Enables reading the computer! The fit snugly and do not fall off easily. Good quality. Comfort fit. In fact the lenses are thicker and a bit heavier than what I'm used to. The only negative I have....they were packaged in a ziplock. Then mailed in an envelope. There was no protection for the glasses. A lens was popped out of the frame. It took me about 45 minutes of finagling to get the lens set into the frame properly. A bit frustrating. Read more
They fit really good, transition from reading to looking far has no blur, and actually feel durable. Very please with these. Alot better quality than Eye Doctors glasses. Read more
There is correction throughout the entire lens, though it's weaker at the top. But that is where you would expect to find no correction at all. Although these would work okay for desk work, switching between computer screen and documents in front of you, like readers, you need to remove them to see anything at a distance or even to look up which, to my mind, makes them ordinary readers. There are much better multi-focus readers available. Foster Grant make them, in fact. Even as readers/computer glasses, these are prone to reflections and glare as well. The frames are comfortable, seem well-built and look great. But with the lenses, the quality and functionality simply are not there. Read more
I normally do not do reviews but after seeing some of the negative ones I felt I should. I have been purchasing these for well over a year now. Have several of them and keep spares in all my vehicles and at work. I am completely satisfied with them. I work as an IT manager and spend considerable time on computers. I have tried single vision readers but they do not have the vision range I need in my work environment. Yes I had a nose pad fall off due to my lack of maintenance on them. Just like prescription glasses you need to pay attention to the screws and make sure they stay tight. I do recommend these. Read more
Much better than I thought they would be! After obtaining progressive glasses from a eye wear clinic, I found they did not work with computer to book to people in the room. Read the information on these and thought I would give them a try. Price was amazingly low and did not expect much. Wow, was I wrong! These are excellent. Good quality, sturdy frames. Beautiful focus areas. Now, my eye prescriptions might just be in the perfect range for these, but I can read documents and books perfectly, look up to read my computer screen in amazing focus and look across the room to talk to someone without it being blurry. Love them and saved me several hundred dollars trying to get them from the eye clinic. Read more
Wow. Severely disappointed. Foster Grants are usually great glasses. But the plastic "scratch-resistant" lenses on two different pairs I've tried (different designs) have been scratched within a week. Unlike the other pairs, this pair was too snug for my relatively large head. But, worse than that, they were blurry. I could find only a very minimal area that would come into focus. The upper region of the lens was blurry everywhere -- and that's the region for distance viewing. I do understand the idea behind trifocals, but I think the line-free design on these leaves a lot to be desired. They might make you dizzy. The temple width was just too tight, even though the lens and bridge actually are described to be wider than another pair of Foster Grants that I own. Weird! Yes, buy here from Amazon because Amazon has such a great Return Policy. But beware these may not be your Final Answer for no longer needing multiple readers. Read more
