I don't drive a lot, so I keep the car battery attached to this to keep it topped up. 1-amp charging is not going to win any awards for speed, but for a battery maintainer, it's great. I liked that it includes a cord with clamps and a cord with ring terminals (for a more permanent install on the vehicle.) The ring terminal cord has an inline fuse which makes me feel better about leaving it attached. The cord on the AC side is not long, so have an extension handy. Product works as described. Very inexpensive and does the job of a product 3 times the price. Hilarious how some are bashing on the power cord length. Use an extension cord. I love how it came with the quick connect allowing me to leave it connected permanently with a quick connect just under the seat of my motorcycle seat. Makes for easy plug in and disconnect in the winter months. Look, this device is basic, it’s very inexpensive and it does the job. These things are great. I've bought at least 3-4 of this exact model and have had zero problems. Basically just hook them upto the battery, plug the charger in and they work great to keep your batteries topped off. I like that they come with both clamps, and o-ring connectors.
