Very nice and noticeable upgrade from the older version! Instantly connected via app and setup was a breeze. Cool mode on high is pretty quiet compared to other models I’ve had and other AC units. FIRST DAY. INSTALLATION Easy: mount the vent panel in the window, connect the vent hose to it, plug it in and turn it on. NOTES: (1) you might have to cut the mounting panel to fit your window. It is good quality plastic and easy to cut. I put it in a vice between two blocks of wood and used a hack saw, cutting slow and straight. (2) I have brand new vinyl windows so I did not screw the panel into the window sash. Instead, i put a block of 2x4 between the top sash and the window frame. PERFORMANCE: So far it is producing cool air. The noise is kinda loud if you are in the same room. I will probably move it to the next room. Seems to be well-made. JUST ONCE I would like to actually get what I pay for from these companies out here! I PAID OVER $600.00 FOR THIS THING!! What an unbelievable disappointment this unit is!! I hooked this unit up about 5 hours ago, and have been running it non stop set at 60*f. (HA ...as if!) and it's sitting in a very small 175 sq. ft. room. right now, 5 hours later, this tiny little room is sitting at 75*f. Currently the outside temperature is 88*f. ....It was about 90* 5 hours ago when I plugged it in. WHAT AN UTTER WASTE OF MONEY!!! Read more

I have a bedroom, a living room, and an office, totaling around 900 square feet. This is located on the ground level of a daylight basement, so it is protected from the worst of the high heat. However, for all that, the unit does a fairly good job of keeping the entire area cool, although it is only rated for 700 square feet. Easy installation, wi-fi controlled, I highly recommend it. It’s look nice, easy windows install and good cooling. But it make intermittent rattling or sound like the fan hitting small plastic. It’s not really loud but very annoying when it’s in low speed. Occasionally it’s drop Wi-Fi connection when connected to work with Alexa. Read more
