Get One!

Ericka JDecember 31, 2025

This thing is amazing! As soon as I got it I put it to use. So excited I can make my own milk at home and fresh juice. Easy clean up, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I think this is way better than using an expensive juicer, I couldn’t stand all the pieces and clean up. This is way better. Read more

Tap the buttons and it works properly

AngelaNovember 22, 2025

We love this machine how versatile is, cold/hot, all the things it can make. Buttons are working if you Tap on them with the entire tip of the finger not just half of it. It does a great job on all the functions I tested. (See the photos and video) The original $80 I think it was too expensive, the current price seems fair. Read more

Great Quality, Very Easy to Use, Makes Great Tasting Milk and is Easy to Clean

J. WhiteDecember 5, 2025

I don't drink much milk, though I really like it. I find dairy highly inflammatory for my system. Just a few days of drinking milk or eating much ice cream and I will start feeling it in my joints. I first noticed this when I was in my 30s. So, I have been a nut milk person for many years. I find that rice or oat milk are the most natural tasting for adding to cereal. But the rice milk is very high glycemic index. I like soy, almond, and other milks. But these days Oat is my go-to. But, nut milks, even oat, are expensive. It averages $4/half gallon. We go through 2 - 3 of those a week. So, that really adds up. This GDOR 42oz Smart Nut Milk Maker looked really interesting, though I was skeptical. First, out of the box it looks very nice, and is well made. It includes everything you need to get started, including a small measuring cup, a nut milk bag, a strainer and even a cleaning wand. The instructions are very simple to follow. It includes a recipe book. You just push the button to select the program you want to run and push start. Note: The top has to be on when it's plugged in or you get an error code. Of course, my first test was oat milk. It used a small amount of rolled oats, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. I normally drink unsweetened oat milk. But I added a teaspoon of maple syrup. You top it off with 30 oz of water and push run. Less than five minutes later you have oat milk. It was actually very tasty, quite satisfactory. Immediately after drinking there was the tiniest bit of "grittyness". But the oats are raw. I am pretty sure that will go away after a night in the refrigerator. I am looking forward to testing it in my cereal tomorrow and will modify my recipe as needed. I have yet to test the other types of nut milks. But we have handy walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts. All should be interesting. By the way, the cost of the 30 oz of oat milk is negligible. A huge tub of rolled oats is less than $4. The vanilla extract and maple syrup will add maybe $0.25. So, all in you are looking at less than $0.60/half gallon. That's a savings of about $10/week for us. Plus, we will never run out as the supplies are not really perishable and easy to keep around. At this rate the appliance will pay for itself in several months. That's pretty darn good. This pot also has a blender inside and can be used to make milkshakes and smoothies. It also will heat and boil water. I didn't consider these points when ordering it. But, this is very useful for us. My wife heats water in her hot pot several times a day. We also have protein shake smoothies almost every night. If those functions all work satisfactorily for us, I will cut our appliances we need to carry when we camp and travel for extended stay away trips considerably. This thing is well made, versatile and just flat out nice. I will award it five solid stars. Read more

Simple Setup, Tasty Nut Milk, and Space-Saving

Just Another Cat LadyDecember 28, 2025

For someone like me, born in the mid-1900s, any new gadget usually comes with a learning curve. Once the hectic holidays were over, I finally had time to try out this nut milk maker. I’ve never had nut milk before, but I’m making an effort to eat healthier, so this felt like a good time to explore plant-based options. Friends suggested starting with cashew milk since it’s richer and creamier than many other plant milks. Luckily, this machine includes a recipe book, which made it much easier to decide where to begin. I started with raw cashews and was happy to discover there was no prep required. Just toss them right into the pitcher. The kit includes a small measuring cup, which made measuring the recommended 3 oz of nuts easy, no scale needed. I added water using my own large liquid measuring cup and placed the lid, which twists securely into a locked position. The display lights up and the unit signals when the process is complete and ready to serve. Some reviewers mentioned the control buttons are hard to press, but they’re designed to be tapped, similar to a cellphone screen. They are not meant to be pressed for any length of time. You do have to cycle through the settings to land on the one you want, but it’s really not a big deal. The cashew milk finished at room temperature, and I was pleasantly surprised by how creamy and flavorful it was, without needing to strain it! Next, I used the milk to make a milkshake. The recipe book didn’t specify a milk-to-ice-cream ratio, so I estimated. It’s a bit harder to judge ratios in a solid metal pitcher compared to a clear glass blender. There’s a dedicated milkshake button, which is a nice feature. My shake turned out a little thin since I underestimated the ice cream, but it tasted good and came out cooler than room temperature. I can easily see this machine replacing both a tea kettle and a blender, freeing up valuable counter space. I’m looking forward to finding more recipes online and experimenting with juices and smoothies next. Read more
