Really loud - when running and the beeps and the vent fan.

Works fine. I don't like it as well as the GE one it replaced (apparently after we lost power, a power surge when it came back on blew it). Here are the things I don't like: TOO LOUD! The beeper when things are done is way too loud! The fan is too loud, the microwave when it is running is too loud! The vent fan is too loud! OK, I did just get new hearing aids about 3 weeks ago, but all that is still too loud. Hurts my ears. Why does the turntable sit so high? The microwave sticks out another inch than the old one. It is very blocky - especially the handle. The buttons are not easy for these arthritic hands to push. You have to make sure you press right in the middle of the number, and press pretty hard. All in all, I'm grateful to have a microwave again, but boy, it's loud. I guess I'll just have to live with it. Read more
