The USB-C and USB-A ports cannot be switched off, only the AC outlets can be switched. This was not clear in the description and will not work for my use case. You have to cut and strip your own wires to hook everything up if you have more than one black and white wire in the box. It would be nice if it included wires, or had wires attached, since my outlet box wires are chained to other outlets/switches. The back of the outlet extends pretty far out and is a tight fit in the gang box. It did connect quickly using the Tuya app and can be used in home assistant. Just be aware of its limited function with the USB ports. Read more
It worked immediately after being installed. The app is very easy to use and to program. The only issue is that the new outlet is installed in my bedroom, and I cannot turn off the LED light. I contacted support via the Live Chat feature in the app, but after a round of questions, they closed the chat. Read more

Don't buy it! The wire lugs aren't big enough...they strip when you tighten them down leaving the outlet totally useless. Buy the MOES brand instead... better quality and easier setup. Read more
The box itself is too deep for any electrical box. The one that came with the place was old and needed upgrade. Then taking this to home depot, this thing barley fits in any electrical box. And I understand why. The thing is super bulky Read more
Very easy to install - just make sure to turn off the proper breaker before beginning. I haven't tested the Alexa/Smart functionality, as I needed this for the USB slot. Those work great. It fit in my existing outset cavity without needing any additional adjustment. Read more
Once it was in... test it out before screwing fully back in, cuz I thought "once it was in" a few times and had to remove. Once it was in though, setting up was only minimally janky, now I have remote control of my socket without a bulky adapter. Read more
