We've tried several different types of nightlights, as my husband doesn't see well in the dark. The ones we were using are nice and bright, and they light the way for him effectively, but their brightness is quite "direct" - it's almost like looking into a bare lightbulb. These are pleasantly bright, and since the lights are indirect, the glare is virtually eliminated. The dawn/dusk sensor works well, and the lights themselves don't get hot. Whenever we travel and stay at hotels or with family, we always like to take a nightlight in our suitcases. These are very handy and so small they hardly take up any room. They provide sufficient light so we can easily see our way if we need to navigate anywhere in the middle of the night. And if you’re like me and likely to forget to take it home (yes, sometimes that happens to us all, right?), they are so inexpensive, you can live with the loss. Really good value. Read more

These are definitely nifty little lights. They are sized perfectly to NOT be obtrusive and call attention to themselves. I loved them as soon as I took out of the box and plugged in. Unfortunately, 2 of the 6 lights received flicker horribly and can not be used. They are inexpensive, so discarding is not an issue. Taking the dogs out last night was a breeze with sufficient light in hallway and at backdoor to simplify the process and expose any trip hazards. Read more

This was a great purchase. They're easy to install (just plug them in), they can adjust and swivel (vertical or horizontal lighting). They aren't heavy, they fit securely in the outlet, they are definitely a warmer tone/color - these are just the right amount of brightness. I will definitely be purchasing more for the second floor of the house! Also, as soon as it starts getting a little dark out, they immediately turn on.
