I’ve been using the GHome Smart Plug for a few weeks now, and it’s been a total game-changer for my smart home setup. Setup was incredibly easy — just plug it in, connect via the app, and link it to Alexa (or Google Home). Took me under 5 minutes from box to working! The plug responds instantly to voice commands and schedules. I use it for lamps, a coffee maker, and even a fan — and it works flawlessly every time. The app interface is user-friendly and lets me set timers, schedules, and control devices remotely. Perfect when I forget to turn something off before leaving the house. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t block the second outlet, which is a big plus. Also, connection has been rock-solid — no random disconnects or delays like I’ve had with other budget smart plugs. For the price, these are fantastic little devices. If you're looking to make your home smarter without spending a fortune, GHome plugs are an easy, reliable choice. Highly recommended! Read more

These outlets are the best. They are small so you won't kick them as you walk by. I used a flat plug cord with them and the combination sticks out from the wall less than a conventional plug by itself. You can push the button on the outlet to turn them on and off or use the free app to control them remotely. You can set schedules for each one or create a scene. Once you have connected the first one through the app to the wifi, each one after that takes less than 30 seconds to connect and update. Seriously These are the easiest to connect and control. I bought another 4 pack of the round ones and 4 of the dual rectangular ones as well as a dual outdoor one. The only drawback is in the app with the pop up ads for other devices. Seriously these are so good and reliable you don't need ads, the brand sells itself. I will be buying this brand when the need comes up. Read more

Lighting and more at the touch of a finger from anywhere. Easy to set up, looks great, as the unit only uses one outlet spot. Connected to my Wi-Fi with ease. I feel that it will be durable for many years to come. The App is also easy to use and makes it compatible with all lot of other devices. Read more

Easy to set up. Arrived quickly. Originally wanted the Christmas tree wand but delivery wouldn't make it before Christmas and creators seem to have made sellers surge the price. This is the same concept essentially. You do have to download an app though so I hate that because why. All these dang apps. But it makes it easy go voice command the tree lights on and off. Still trying to figure out how to time automate it but I think you have to share constant location for that to work. It works with Alexa as well if you have one but I just use my phone. The app connects to the google home app so if you delete the app after the initial set up it won’t connect. Not an official google product as I initially thought but is able to connect easily with google devices. My only issue is downloading yet another app but it works great and is super small and cordless on its own. Just like lights however, you will need some kind of internet in your home to connect the bluetooth capacity of the device but yeah so far so good. Read more

There’s a feature called “Inching” and it was extremely helpful because it’s essentially an auto-off feature whenever you turn your plugged in device on. I didn’t need a timer to schedule on and off, but I needed a timer for whenever you do turn the device on that it would turn off within 15 minutes. I had a safety concern that my mom who has early onset dementia, would leave the space heater on forgetfully and so now I have peace of mind that the heater will turn off if she forgets. The only thing is that the whole plug shuts off after the timer and so you would have to press the on button on the plug before you can turn the device on the next time you use it. I wish that there were better instructions on all the features. I had to just play around with it to figure it out. Read more

We're up to 12 holiday lights in different rooms, whether single candles or multi-bulb candoliers, Christmas tree, and so on. These controllers are compatible with Alexa, are inexpensive and easy to set up. We put them in a group called "Christmas." Now a single request, "Alexa, Turn on Christmas" and no more going around the house one-by-one. Even easier, we've since programmed timer events so the lights turn on and off automatically. Home automation is great. Read more
