I have been purchasing these floss picks for years and loved them. This last order of packages I have been disappointed in the quality of the floss...it breaks before I get done flossing. Just to echo what many other recent purchasers have said: Glide floss picks used to be the best product I of its kind out there, but the quality of the product has taken a nosedive with my last purchase. And I do mean LAST purchase because I won't waste my money on these again. I wish I had looked over the recent reviews before my last order. Then again, why would I suspect anything?... I went through 4 picks the first time I tried to floss after opening the new package. Part of the problem is that the floss thread (different than before) doesn't fit into the tight spaces between my teeth like it used to, so I'm putting more pressure on it than I should have to. As a result, the thread breaks or breaks out of where it is affixed to the pick. Lousy! I'm so disappointed because now I don't know what product to turn to. Caveat emptor! Read more

The floss change is unconscionably bad. Clearly Glide didn’t test adequately, or more likely, didn’t care to save money. We would have gladly paid more to keep the same good floss pik that it used to be. We’ve used Glide floss and these piks for many years, it used to be a wonderful product. Even our dentists stopped recommending all Glide products. But Glide decided to go cheap and change the floss string so it breaks very easily. My elderly mother got a stuck floss string dangling from a back molar. It was so difficult to remove, she got severe jaw pain. The angled pik is critical for arthritic hands to maneuver, so most floss piks won’t work for us. I’ve tried numerous brands, so far Dentek has worked out ok. Read more
My dentist recommended these floss picks and I wondered what the difference would be from other picks. I found out really quickly what the difference is… EASE OF USE!!! The design of this floss picks makes getting in between my rear teeth a breeze… the field goal shaped head with the floss going across makes it much easier to access the spaces in the back of my mouth.
