My dog loves the Gnawsome solid color light-up balls, she has 6 in different colors that she constantly plays with. She rejects all other balls we have gotten her so when we found these, we had to try them and they have become her favorite balls. I think it is because the soccer balls are softer or squishier than her solid color balls. They are lasting well, though they do eventually stop lighting up and squeaking but not until after a lot of heavy daily use and over the 5 years we have been buying the solid balls only one split at the seam. We do throw them out after a couple years as the texture of the plastic changes and they start to get stiffer. She still plays with them even when they stop lighting up and squeaking. She seems to prefer the traditional black and white colors to the others. We got the small size for our 12 pound Coton de tu Lear. So glad we can find them here. Read more
Frankly an awesome small dog ball! 2nd one we’ve had in a year and in the first one the bright and exciting light quits in a couple weeks. Gnawsome you’re advertising something that can’t be expected to work for a long time. But, our playful old boy is nuts for it. Gnawsome, could I have a lightless alternative that costs a little less? This is the second one of these I’ve bought. My young Shih Tzu loves it! He can actually make it squeak. The flashing lights keep him occupied, too, and they seem to make fetching them more fun! A lot of the squeaky balls are too hard for a small dog to squeak, but he still loves fetching them. It just arrived today, so I can’t speak to how well it will hold up, but it seems to be well-made. The little spikes are soft and make it easy for squishy-faced dogs with little mouths to pick up and carry around. I do wish they would allow color choice, as the black and white one is his favorite! It's was a great toy but did not last long. The sqeeker broke in about 10 minutes. But my dog is large. Not recommend to a large dog. Ball still solid just no sound. Read more
