It instantly became our labs favorite go-to toy! There are three great features: a squeaker, a blinking light, and the soft plastic spikes that they can't break off, which help clear their teeth. I got three of these months ago. The squeaker went after a few weeks, but the lights have kept working. It is so fun to throw this at night and see the light blinking as it moves across your lawn and to see it blinking in your dogs mouth as he or she runs back with it. It stops after movement - about 10 seconds. My first one was a gift to my puppy, and it was a gift to me because it always offers fun for both of us! Read more

Our dog's favorite toys. Super sturdy, satisfying bounce, fun lights and squeak. We've had some for years and while the lights went out after a year or more it's still a favorite. Read more

Great super durable ball. Dog loves it and really chews/plays hard with it (Australian Shepherd). However squeaker quit after about 1 week, and the LED light quit after about 2-3 weeks. Wish the light and squeaker were more durable, or they sold the ball cheaper without these 2 options (that apparently don't last according to other reviews) Read more

The media could not be loaded. When my dog turned 8 years old, I noticed a change in his playing habits and he seemed bored with most of his former favorite toys. At a younger age, he played for hours until he exhausted himself, and then after a deep and lengthy nap he would continue to play. However, over the past few months his indoor playing time declined even though he is in perfect health and without any arthritis, no aches, and no pain. He still had some interest in new squeaky dolls, but after about 10 minutes, he would just walk away. Even when I threw his other squeaky balls, after 15 minutes or so he just lost interest and didn’t even bother chasing after the ball. Therefore, I was getting desperate to find something new and completely different to end his daily lethargic existence. This Gnawsome squeak and light ball is an extra-large size for big dogs like my Old English sheepdog. Its large proportion assures me that it’s too big to accidently swallow, and therefore he could never choke, because it can’t slide down his throat. I think that the addition of a flashing light, along with the squeak has perked his attention for play, as this is something different that he had never experienced with any of his toys. I love how after he mouths the ball, which starts the flashing light, and then he drops the ball and lets it roll a short distance. As the ball flashes the light, he stares and perks up his ears, and then when the flashing light stops he grabs the ball again to both squeak and flash the light. Therefore, it’s obvious that the flashing light fascinates him and he enjoys the squeak sound as he mouths this ball, and the soft flexible rubber spikes must feel good against his gums. Even in the mornings as I struggle to wake-up and grab a cup of coffee, he is right there nudging my leg with his ball. He then drops it at my feet, and starts running down our long hallway in anticipation of the throw and catch game. At night, it’s even better, I’ll turn off the lights and he can easily see the ball to catch it, due to the ball’s flashing lights as it bounces against our tile floor. This light strobe ball may even work for a dog whose hearing has declined, because instead of hearing a ‘bounce’, the dog could just follow the flashing light. Currently, he has had the Squeak and Light ball for about 3 weeks, and both the light and squeaker have remained intact, offering my boy, hours of daily entertaining play. I love how this Squeak and Light ball has turned my older dog into an exuberant puppy again, actively happy and ready to play. Read more

I gave 5 stars because my dog loves these balls! They are fun to play at night due to the lights that come on when the ball hits the ground. One word of advice... I take the ball inside after we play with it because when we leave them outside and/or in the sun, the ball becomes very hard and the spikes on the ball hurt! If you take good care of the ball it is well worth the money and dogs love them! Read more

Love the Ball it’s just a little disappointing that it Doesn’t Glow in the Dark’. It looks great though but unless it’s bounced? It won’t light up!. When Iam in my Yard and it’s thrown Dog can’t see where it has gone too! Other wise Great 👍 Read more

Great dog toy! My dog destroys dog toys in minutes (sometimes seconds). Surprisingly enough, because he is a bird dog, he has a "soft mouth" when retrieving a bird but is an avid toy killer. He wants to find the squeaker, so the toy must die. The spikes on the ball keeps him from biting it because of his "soft mouth" bred into him for retrieving birds. The flashing lights fascinate him. He doesn't try to find the speaker but he does drive me crazy squeezing the ball over and over and over and over... Read more
