So the first one of these balls I bought was a dud. My dog played with it for maybe an hour and then it stopped lightening up. That was a red and pink colored ball. So I told the seller and they sent me a replacement which is the one you are seeing in the pictures below. Even though the one doesn't light up, I keep it in our RV because she loves it so much. The green and purple one they sent as a replacement is in our house, but unfortunately it stopped squeaking yesterday. It still lights up though! But I can't really complain. My dog sure isn't complaining and if it's good enough for her then it's good enough for me. She loves the ball (both balls) and plays with them for hours. I love the different colors you get. At first I was a little bummed that I didn't get to pick the color, but it is kind of fun opening the package to see what color you get...I mean what color your dog gets. =) The 3.5 inch is the perfect size for my dogs too. I have 3 pugs, but my smallest pug plays with it the majority of the time and she can bite down on it and pick it up. It seems to be pretty durable but don't be surprised if it stops squeaking or the flashing lights stop working soon after you get it. For a small dog, she really tears toys apart. Luckily this ball is pretty thick. It doesn't feel cheap and flimsy like some of the other brands out there. I think one of the best things about the ball is the little spikey nubs on the ball that are suppose to be helpful in cleaning the dogs teeth. It wouldn't be the same without them and I believe that is one of the reasons why this particular ball is better than others. My dog seems to go to this ball before going to a ball that doesn't have them. Maybe it massages her mouth? I don't know, but when my dogs are happy, I am happy. Now let's see, the cons of this ball...I think I already mentioned them. The only two I can come up with is that it stops squeaking and the lights stop flashing. Other than that I can't think of anything. This ball is great for indoors and outdoors too! Almost forgot to mention that! Lastly, I love the price! To me that's a very good deal! I can't remember the exact amount, but it was like $5 dollars and some odd cents. Definitely worth it! You may be wondering why I rated it 5 stars with the problems I had with it. The seller took care of me and quickly shipped me a replacement and like I said, my dog can still play with it. Anyway I highly recommend trying this! Especially if you have a smaller dog that likes to play like a Pug. Thank you! Read more

Oh my gosh! My one year old German Shepherd has recently taken up fetching balls and is now obsessed. I was looking for a squeaky ball, as well as something that would hold up to a German Shepherd chewing on it constantly. I’ve had this ball for about 4 weeks. The ball now has a hole in it, but still works for fetching. This is a long time for a ball to last with my dogs. My older dogs that never enjoyed fetching LOVE this ball, and now have taken up the sport. They love the squeaky part and they enjoy the lights too. I will say that the lights flash at random times and sometimes not at all, but this purchase was very worth it. I will buy more! Read more

My golden retriever loves balls and this is one of her favorites for inside the house. It lights up and she loves to throw it around to get it to light up. If you have an aggressive viewer, it may not last. Read more

The size is perfect for my dogs mouth and the colors are really cute. My dog likes it due to the squeak which is really annoying. The reason I’m giving a low review is because the light stopped working in just a few hours after I gave the ball to my dog. I wanted the light since he likes to play fetch at night. Also the picture shows 2 balls but only 1 came. It does say quantity of 1, but thought this meant 1 pkg of 2 balls. Now the light is working again. Hmmm. Dog still loves the squeaky sound. The light is working again but squeaker no longer works but that’s ok. Read more

It’s a great spiky squeaker ball, but I don’t know if we got a “defective” one or not, but there is no light in the ball. So it doesn’t light up. Just squeaks. I’ve bought one like this in the past, slightly smaller (same brand), and it did light up. My puppy hasn’t managed to tear the old one apart, but the battery is dying in the light with no way to change it out. So I got this squeaker/light ball, and another one (smaller), to replace it. I was disappointed that this one didn’t actually have a light. But the other one did. And it’s not worth the time to return, and my pup has no issues playing with it. He just isn’t playing with it as much as he does the ones with lights. So at worst the quality control of the company is poor, at best it’s a durable toy anyway. Read more

I like the squeaky, size and light up feature. Based on the picture I thought I'd be receiving 2 of these ball but only got one. Then the squeaker fell INTO the ball-no way to get it out. They sent a replacement and a piece on the outside fell off same day. But it squeaks & lights up. It would be nice to keep the lights going with fetch as night until purposely shutting off. Ball can be thrown in the dark but if the light shuts off, as it does 30 second after initially lighting up, then you lost the ball until daylight. It's okay overall. Read more
