I wanted a power bank that I could connect to a solar panel to use mainly for emergencies when the power was out for any significant amount of time. I was looking for a small unit like this one with at least 100W usb-c output AND at least one AC outlet, which would allow me to charge and power the greatest range of small electronics, from cell phones, notebooks and tablets to AC devices like electric razors, beard and hair trimmers, a small battery charger, etc. This was the only power bank I could find that satisfied those requirements. It is on the pricey side but it did give me everything I was looking for so it was worth it to me. On a single charge I can charge my Chromebook twice or charge my iPhone 14 five times which is excellent. It's well-built and looks and feels like a quality product, which it is, in no part because this is a mature product being Goal Zero's fourth-generation of this power bank. So they have increased the power of wireless charging, increased the power of the usb-c ports and I love the fact that they now angle the display to make it much easier to read from various angles compared to the last version. The full color display is great showing you watts input and output as well as time to full or time to empty depending on whether you are charging the Sherpa 100AC or charging something from it. I use it with a very nice 100W folding solar panel I found here on Amazon. It plugs right into the solar-in port on the back of the Sherpa 100AC and it's good to go. I was able to easily get the max 60W in from the panel that the Sherpa can handle and it's not even summer yet so they're both working together exactly as I had hoped. If you are looking for a small but powerful power bank you can't do much better than this versatile little 2 pound powerhouse! Read more

Got this for my wife’s birthday and she loves it! She uses it for a mirror less Nikon camera since the batteries that came with it don’t hold charge for a long period of time. She keeps it in the bag with all the other stuff. It came with a 60 watt power cord. Didn’t come with the 60 watt brick though, but that is ok Best Buy sells them. It was completely dead and charged right up within 3 hours using a standard 20 watt brick. I got this item on sale thru GoalZero. Also the top of this will change a phone if yours is compatible, just turn it on. There is a display in the middle to tell you how much is left. Read more

I've been considering one of these power banks for several years now. Finally decided that the next time this one was on sale I would pick one up. Well, Amazon had them on sale and I placed the order. It's obvious from the time you handle the box that this is a quality product. The weight alone tells you this one will get the job done! And will it ever. It's charged everything I've plugged into it more quickly than I expected and is excellent at charging my iPhone and iPad at the same time. Be aware of the dimensions of this unit and the weight if you plan to travel with it. It's NOT a lightweight unit. However the weight is not to heavy that it's uncomfortable, but you will know it's there in your backpack or briefcase. You can depend on Goal Zero to deliver clean reliable power in just about any scenario I can imagine. Would be very handy when the power might be out for a day or more. I can see several recharges for a mobile phone and at least one or more for a power hungry laptop. More than enough for a couple of days without A/C power. Don't let the price discourage you. Jump in and see what the "best" of a product design looks like. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Read more
