Slightly more expensive than regular bulbs, however, these work well in most all areas needed. Esp work well with bathroom vanity lighting, but also in ceiling fans and covered bulb lights like poss in kitchens or overhead on porches/patios. These are the nice, soft cool, yet bright enough to see well White and do not have the warm light’s yellowish tinge color. I def suggest these for most any lighting where you want a true light color and not the yellowish color. They seem to be good quality and honestly I’m unsure if dimmable. Read more

I got these to replace some incandescent bulbs that were in my new home. Preferring a soft white for the bedroom, but not too yellow, I purchased the 3K bulbs. They are a perfect match for the incandescent bulbs...only much brighter! Time will tell how energy efficient they are. I also purchased the 4K bulbs for the bathroom, preferring a whiter white there. It's great, and doesn't have an odd fake blue that you would find with "daylight" or 5K bulbs, much to my glee. At first I thought it had the tiniest of green tint, but it seems that I just needed to get used to having actual white light (instead of dull yellow light) in the room. So far I've had these installed for a week, and there have been no issues. The light fills the rooms nicely with no dark areas Installation was easy, though I found that the fit for these bulbs was ever so slightly tighter than the old bulbs. While I had no trouble installing them, I had to be more exact with my insertion of the bulb into the socket, where I could wing it a bit more with the old bulbs. Not necessarily a bad thing, but just something I noticed. For the price, these bulbs are great. I'll see how long they last....hopefully for years! Read more

These Great Eagle 2700K bulbs are perfect. The warm white actually looks like warm white, that soft comfy glow that reminds you of a quiet evening instead of an interrogation room. They use way less power than my old incandescents, and they don’t run hot enough to fry an egg. Plus, these things last forever. I’m convinced the house will fall apart before these bulbs burn out.
