I’ve used these bulbs almost exclusively for the last 4-5 years. The life is great and I’ve had very little issue. I have had 1 ceiling fan that has flickered on occasion, but cannot necessarily blame the bulb. I do have another light where I have had an issue with the bulbs turning off. When I removed the bulb to check, the base was incredibly hot. This is where the heat sink is and I question the quality of that specific component. While I cannot conclude that the bulb is the issue, I did want to provide this detail in case others have similar issues. At this time, I do not believe this retracts from the overall great experience and quality I’ve gotten from this brand of bulb. Read more

I have nicknamed these "my Jesus lights" because they are sooooo bright it appears that the heavens have opened and Jesus is coming to chat. We replaced the yellow colored bulbs in the bathroom overhead light with 2 of these 75W equivalent bulbs in the daylight version. Holy moly!!! Every speck of dirt on your floor and pore on your face are visible. I may have aged at least 5 years! My elderly mother, who lives with us, also wanted to replace the 4 vanity lights with these bulbs as well, for a total of 6 of these in 1 bathroom. Well, I did that for her, but ultimately could not leave these in the vanity lights. Just turning on the vanity lights alone killed my eyes. They literally needed to adjust to the brightness. I have since gone with a 25W equivalent daylight bulb for the 4 vanity lights and those are plenty bright. Because I think my mother's eyesight is diminishing, she turns on both the vanity lights and the overhead lights and "can see GREAT!" She loves these bulbs and almost everything in the house is being replaced with these to make it easier for her to see. If you are having a hard time seeing or just enjoy the replication of sunlight indoors, these are as close as you can get. They certainly make cleaning easier (that dirt won't escape now) and also reading is easier with them. Before we switched to the daylight version, I had a more "yellow" version throughout the house (also LED, same brand) and those have lasted for at least 2 years with extended daily use and were going strong at the time we switched, so you will get your money's worth with these bulbs.
