Not Great on Long Hair
As a blonde, I was disappointed with the texture powder I tried. It didn't blend well with my hair, and it made it look weighed down. Plus, it was excessively drying. However, it seemed to work well on a short boy's haircut, adding thickness despite the drying effect. I think there are better options out there for those of us with longer hair. Read more
Adds volume with the right technique
This is a decent texturing powder for creating big volume with backcombing, particularly for updos. I personally would go for a root lifter over this for everyday volume-boosting because of the buildup. This product adds weight, and if you have fine hair that's kind of the enemy of volume, so unless you're teasing the hair or adding curl, the style is going to fall pretty quickly. If you use it with the proper expectations of what it'll do, it's pretty effective. Read more
