Solid, heavy duty construction, sleek design, looks beautiful on my counter. So far it works really well. It really is easy to push down the lever to engage the opener. The magnet is strong and it opens cans without leaving sharp edges. It is quiet and pretty easy to clean (as easy as any other can opener). We have tried medium sized cans so far and it holds them with no problem. It sits on the counter top and seems to stay in place without slipping. It is our first electric can opener in a long time and they have actually improved dramatically. Read more

I hesitated to order because of the edge cutting operation but in practice it works great. No sharp edges and makes a lid that can be used for temporary storage if needed. You have to keep pressing on the handle to continue cutting but that is no big deal since it cuts rapidly. It works with tall cans like tomato juice. Read more
