I picked up this steamer stand to get my laundry room under control, and it has made a big difference. Instead of having my steamer, and accessories scattered around the house, everything now sits in one dedicated spot. The metal frame feels sturdy and the black finish looks clean in the space. The setup is simple. I used the over‑the‑door option as it is easier to move around if needed and the door is the only free space in my laundry room: It fit securely without affecting how the door opens or closes. The built‑in hanger is convenient because I can hang a shirt and steam it right there without moving back and forth. The included heat‑resistant glove is a nice touch and makes steaming a lot more comfortable. The media could not be loaded. I have so many positive things to say about this steamer garment holder at an affordable price. First, the assembly is very easy no drilling necessary means I don’t need my spouse assistance. Plus this unit gives you a second option to make it a wall amount if you choose to. The storage rack is wide enough to hold my steamer instead of using the open slot that is a part of the stack rack shelf. Now the open slot has a rubber trim around it that provides extra support to help hold your handheld steamer in place. My steamer is different. So I used that spot to hold in place my can spray it helps hold the can in place and prevents it from sliding. The shelf has enough room for water, bottle starch, can and anything else that you need for all of your steaming leves. There’s two hooks at the bottom of your over the door hooks, and those I chose to use for holding my cords in the other for holding the iron hand mat, this included for you. I like that iron glove, I have never had one of those and was happy to have it because I’m always burning myself and this helps prevent my hand from getting burned. I will note, the loop on the iron glove is not on the center as pictured, it’s actually on the corner of the glove. Over the door hanger fits a standard door of about one and 5/8 1 5/16 inches wide, and it closes with no problem whatsoever. However, my only drive back is that the storage rack is so wide bulky that it hits the wall. Rack is about 5 inches wide and I measured the space behind the door is 4 inches. If your kids swing open doors like mine, you would definitely end up with a big hole in the wall. I could put some sort of felt pad on the hook to help. If wasn’t for that I would give it 5 stars. This metal storage rack is a very simple product, it’s far more useful than a few pieces of metal should be. Assembly is simple, there are only a couple of steps, and depending on installation preferences, a wall plate or over-the-door hangers. I’ve used these types of hooks before on an over-the-door storage rack, they work simply and easily, but the rack is also very easily lifted up and off the little hooks. I’ve had metal baskets come off accidentally on hooks like these, so depending on if that happens, I may anchor it to a wall in my laundry space eventually. Over the door is fine for now. This rack is pretty versatile and could easily be used for hair tools. I love it as a steamer rack because it also stores my fabric shavers and stain removers, and I LOVE that I can hang whichever article of clothing I’m shaving or steaming, right from the bottom of the rack. I’m also going to choose a small container to place on or next to this to hold my smaller items (double sided tapes, hem tape & other alteration supplies). This is far more convenient than trying to find a good spot to lay down clothing on, and digging a shaver or the steamer out of the bin. Things are far more likely to actually be steamed and shaved as needed with everything ready in one spot. I can also hang dry articles of clothing, as well as hang them to pre-treat stains.
