Had the water line to the refrigerator ice maker freeze up. Had a repair tech come in, he used a steamer like this one. After a few weeks it froze again. I used a hair dryer with limited success. I was cautioned not to use a heat gun. Gets too hot and warps the plastic. The last time it froze I used this steamer, hasn’t froze since. I just may be lucky. I really need an ice maker, seriously.
