at the 1/2 off price, there is no other deal that can compete
Saw this pan and was wondering the quality but being it was cast iron and 10" size 13 dollars is a deal even on raw cast...... Take in account that the pan is enameled exterior AND INTERIOR as well. It is a black enamel and it appears to make the pan appear to be raw cast but it is not. I was expecting maybe a possible return item from their inventory but it was just the opposite. Well... even though box had some damage item was packaged very well and was stellar when I viewed & used it. I proceeded to spritz a 1 & 1/2 seconds of oil spray and began to make my omelet. I tell folks the trick to enamel cast is 1st oil it up & heat it up on lower than what you would normally for allow Teflon type pan & give it a few mins (5-6 mins aprox) get your food prepped and then cook. Nothing sticks to it and I have to say for 13 USD there is no other deal that if youre looking for a nice little skillet & want an enameled one that can compete with much more expensive units..... do not pass this one up. ** these pans ( Enameled cast iron cookware) are kind of like a piece of functional art. With that being said, yu can throw em around but they'll chip & if you dont learn how to use & properly care for them, they will become useless & get put into service as small boat anchors!! :-) Read more
