So I have been using this vest since Christmas 2023 to take my dog for a walk in the wee hours of the morning here in Western New York. It is comfortable, sized right. It has a medallion on the upper left chest which is the on-off, level of heat desired and zone control. Very easy to use and intuitive. When the vest is heating up the medallion blinks red and once it reaches temperature it will go to a solid color. Blue is the coolest, White is medium and red is the warmest setting. Mine defaults to white after the initial warm up period which usually takes around five or so minutes. I wear the vest under a winter jacket and even on our coldest mornings of 5 degrees I did not need more than the medium setting (white) with all zones on. I would probably be sweating if I used the high temperature. The battery life is exactly as advertised and plenty for my use. Charges quickly and displays the percentage of charge left. Also has 2 USB ports. One is for the vest. Comes with a removable hood, which heats up also, I have not used this yet. All of this comes with a very nice carry bag with a place for everything. I'm really enjoying my COREEDGE heated jacket. I really appreciated the other buyers reviews, it helped me in making my decision to buying the vest. Personally I feel the battery life is good, I have a spare on hand if it doesn't exceed the lengths of time I need to wear it, but so far it's great. I wear a size medium but it was a finger to small on my hips, I gave it to my dear friend/mom. I ordered the large size vest for myself and it's perfect. I'm going to buy another one for someone else too, I was told she has breast cancer, I know she would love it and enjoy it. I truly recommend this heated vest, it's comes in a beautiful storage bag with everything you need, it is comfortable and the warmth is amazing I wear it two to three times a week. I charge it as soon as I take it off, it can take hours to charge. Once charged I put the battery back in the vest pocket, and I hang it up until my next trip in the cold weather. I keep the charging cord in the right inside pocket so that I know where it is when I need to change the battery again. My husband and I have sold so many of these vest! I really hate wearing coats so this was perfect to go under my sweatshirt. It keeps you super warm. Believe me we have been at pop up shops outside in the winter cold and I've been so warm and toasty. The battery life is great! The fit is perfect. Easy to use. I wish they had pocket warmers! This runs small, but going up 1 size from the sizing chart fits perfectly. I am 5’5” and weigh 140, my measurements were in the range of a small which I wasn’t able to zip but the medium fits great! Very nice workmanship and materials. I love how well constructed it is. This vest heats up quickly and the warming pads are in great positions. I ordered a spare battery to keep in the right inner pocket, more for balance than worry of running out of charge. The batteries weigh 9.4 oz which is great for the power they supply. This vest is amazing! It is the only one I could find that has heat in the neck. The only minor complaint I have is the temperature could get a little hotter. I would also like to note that many others said this vest ran small. I actually found the opposite. I am 5’9” and 150 lbs. I ordered large and it was loose. Now IMO you would not want to wear bulky clothes underneath or you won’t be able to feel the heat. I returned the large and got a medium for a more snug fit. It is perfect!!! I intend to wear a thermal shirt under the vest and layer over top of the vest with sweatshirts and coats when I really need to stay warm. Otherwise, I have been wearing my vest just to run around and I love it. The medium does also fit over my bulky clothing, but is a better fit to feel the heat against my skin. The vest is fine. -The insulation is more puffy than most vests. that means it is probably warmer -But for my 5'4 wife, that made it "bunchy" even without an outer shell -it is longer than most vests, which could be a positive for you... The battery is 7.4V. This is a big negative for me. I recommend looking for 12V heated gear. -12V is part of the PD standard for USB stuff. 7.4V/8V is not. Every USB charger/battery system made is (or should be and will be) PD. -easier to connect to a car cigarette lighter for unlimited use -more and better options for extra batteries (1 battery will not be enough for a football game or a ski day) -In 2024 there were almost no 12V vests (kudos to kemimoto) and 0 cut for females, outside the motorcycle gear (gerbling). This year, 2025, there are 5 or so cut for females. -I will review the all of the 12V vests cut for women within the next month, except for one from Venustas which is priced 2x higher than all the others - I refuse. -For winter 2026, I would guess that 12V will be the default, and 18V or 24V will start to appear. That all said, it does work just fine to heat, so don't hesitate if younget a good pricenor like the fit.
