When I mentioned to my husband that I needed some new kitchen knives, he said one word: Henckel. I purchased this set and after using the Henckel brand one time, I realized how dull (and rusted) my old knives were. This set is very functional and each one is comfortable in my hand. I really like these knives. Sharp from the box. I used the chefs knife on Thanksgiving and it worked great. My old one broke at the handle so I ordered this set just for the chefs knife basically. I think this one is batter made. Read more

Good for the money overall, but the blade on the french knife is pretty thin. I have other knives of various make and price and none of them are this thin. The pairing and serrated knives are very nice and for the price, they represent a good value. If you are looking for a more high end or pro grade knife, keep looking. If you are looking for a decent knife at a budget price, this is a good option. Read more
