When my problem area gets inflamed, the coolness from this helps to bring down whatever inflammation there is from within my neck and helps to ease the pain of my headache. Maybe like 10-15 mins at best and then it feels like room temp around my neck by that point. It does fit nice though (it's adjustable and should fit most) and the fabric is good quality. You have a small window of time so buy two at least or just know you will have to return to freezer quicker than anticipated. It’s inconvenient but not the worst Other than that each come with a bag to protect in freezer, has great packaging and excellent product as far as construction fit and Velcro.
