These boots are cute. The material seems to be a heavy translucent vinyl type material. I am 5‘4“, and they come up to just below midcalf. I don’t think anyone ever said these were work type boots, but they feel a lot more like fashion rather than function. Think grandma going out to the mailbox and doesn’t want to get her socks wet. I have a golden retriever and sometimes I need to go into tall grass or deep snow. These definitely will not do the trick for me. The other feature I wanted to point out is these are quite narrow. The size I ordered fit my foot perfectly lengthwise. However, the width was way too narrow. If they were leather, I would know they could stretch out. However, being a synthetic material, this isn’t going to happen. I wore them barefoot. While taking my foot out, the removable insole came right out with my foot. I had to shove the insole back into the bottom of the boot and reposition it so it sat flatly. So, if you have a narrow foot and you’re just looking for something cute to keep your sack dry while you get the mail or walk to your car, these will do the trick. If you were looking for a boot that is going to get you through tallgrass or deep snow, keep looking. Read more

I was disappointed in this boot because the height that it comes up on your calf is a lot shorter than advertised. And I don't have long legs! The height from the bottom to the top of the boot is only 7" tall, so again not as advertised. I needed something that came up at least 9-10". That being said, the quality of the boot and its appearance is nice. I would think any color or design would be good unless you wanted a taller boot through your calf and lower leg. Living in the Portland, Oregon area in December 2025, I had to get new rain boots-mid calf length. This company, Hisea, had the best selection and best price. I ordered them on December 16 and was to receive them on December 18. Surprise! They came the next day, Wednesday during a gully washer of a rainstorm.
