I am reviewing these knives after having had them for a week. All have professional weight, balance and sharpness and, so far, impress me with their quality and utility. I believe they were an excellent buy. I cannot say at this point how durable they will be or how well they will maintain an edge. Only time and use will answer those questions. Read more

Great quality, but misleading product description I bought this knife set expecting a Japanese-made product, based on the listing and the overall presentation. When I opened the box, I was impressed — the knives are very sharp, well-balanced, and beautifully crafted. The pakkawood handles feel great in hand, and the Damascus pattern looks authentic. However, the box clearly says "Made in China." While I fully respect the high quality of many Chinese-made products — and these knives are truly excellent — I believe the product description should be more transparent. I’m keeping the set because of the quality, but I encourage the seller to clarify the origin in the listing to avoid confusion. Read more
