I suspect the best aspects of this Hunter fan were inherited from Casablanca. After installing this thing it is clear that the MARKETING department at Hunter has been calling the shots. And the engineering department should hide their heads in shame. They probably never tried to assemble this thing before dumping it on the unsuspecting consumer. The technical writers at Hunter, on the other hand, deserve praise. The instructions and graphics are great. The button head 10-32 screws used to install the blades to the motor are worthless. It's impossible to start these screws by hand without dropping while threading overhead. And dropping, and dropping. And dropping. I replaced these screws with 10-32 socket head cap screws. That worked. Read more
