The wife loves this thing. We've had ice cream every day since it arrived. She says it's very easy to use with great documentation and well made like the mixer. Read more
Works wonderfully! Exactly like the one I bought directly from Kitchen Aid. I already own the name brand ice cream maker however it is in storage 1000 miles away from me and I really wanted to be able to make my own ice cream again. I didn’t necessarily want to spend another $100… I found this one and it is exactly like the other one. Works the exact same and fits my mixer perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product. Just be sure to have machine running prior to pouring in liquid. Read more
Had to put 1 star to enter the review. No ice cream just a mixer with milk and cream. The bowl sounded slushy like the freezing liquid was low when it arrived. Threw away the packaging already otherwise it would have been a return. 2nd off brand ice cream attachment and thoroughly disappointed. If you never want to see the 7 and 5 year grandson disappointed look, then buy something that works. :) Edit: 3 stars after sitting in the freezer for 48 hours the mix somewhat solidified. My previous maker which leaked in the freezer at least got the consistency to soft serve without putting in the freezer. Grandsons will be happy as long as they let me know a couple of days before they plan on getting dropped off. ;) Edit: Patience is key. Once it had a chance to freeze it was fantastic. Also made me realize that 5 and 7 year old boys don't get to dictate what great ice cream is. :) Read more
I had a single bowl of ice cream before it broke. It's not worth spending the money on because A single bowl of ice cream should be substantially less than $40, but that's what that bowl of ice cream cost me $40. It was tasty though Read more

Wow! This attachment has ruined store bought ice cream for us forever. This works exactly as much as we had hoped. A word of caution though, the yoke that drives the mixing paddle is plastic so we cat say yet over the long run how good it will still be. Read more
The media could not be loaded. So easy to use! I recommend pre freezing the bowl for 24 hours- I don’t have a big deep freezer but could still hear sloshing after the recommended 15 hours per the instruction booklet. Its easy to set up and use. It locks into my kitchenaid with ease. Pour your liquid in, start mixing until it begins to freeze. It says you can add mix ins after about 15 minutes but I feel it’s best for certain ingredients to be added when the blade is ready to come out. I would add any fruit or flavorings like malt powder or chocolate in earlier to it can incorporate completely, cookie pieces, candy or sprinkles, I prefer to stir in at the end as I feel it keeps them from breaking up too much. When it’s well mixed pour into another bowl- I use some containers specifically recommended for ice cream. It’s a great way to make homemade ice cream. Read more
