Great controller. As an owner of many 8Bitdo Sn30 Pro controllers I find this one to be ultra compact and super accurate for how tightly packed all the inputs are. Hall sensors so no stick drift at all. Only annoyance is the location of LT/LB & RT/RB which is really just getting adjusted to muscle memory. These buttons are located on the same axis so it can be hard to adjust to remembering which one is which if you come from a more familiar controller layout such as Xbox One. That aside, IINE provides a nice app that works really well for rebinding controls. SteamOS / Windows also work fine for this, and I actually was skeptical of using the app but it worked so well I can't help but recommend it. The controller is pretty much perfect. I have average hands and it is quite comfortable to the point of being somewhat addicting to use if that makes sense. Where other controllers get uncomfortable or my hands go numb after playing for a while, this thing is actually fun to use. Imagine that: your controller improving your gaming experience. Go figure, but I'm definitely buying another IINE now instead of 8Bitdo next time I need a new tiny USB-C controller. Read more

The IINE Retro Pocket is a fantastic controller! It stores flat, takes up very little space, holds a long charge, and even works while charging. I like the vibration, gyro, and how quickly it syncs across devices. I often switch between my MacBook and iPhone, and it handles that seamlessly. Some games feel better in Xbox mode, some in DualShock, and changing modes is quick and easy. (I haven’t tried Switch mode yet.) I also own a PS5 DualSense, but I actually prefer this one — it’s lighter, more compact, and easier to hold. I liked it so much that I bought a second one just for travel. Tip: For extra comfort, I recommend Skull & Co. thumb grips — Skin, CQC, and FPS Thumb Grips Set (Black, 3 pairs/6 pcs). They fit the same-size Switch Joy-Con sticks, slip on and off easily, and make longer sessions better. ASIN: B071FMCLZ7. Read more

Good controller. You need to keep the instructions because there’s a lot of features that require cryptic button combinations. I was able to fix joystick drift that started after I had it in my bag for a while. It’s a little small and not very ergonomic, but that’s to be expected with a portable controller. My biggest gripe is how easily it turns on. The point of the design is so you can use it on the go and carry it in a bag or pocket easily, but the on button sticks out and takes almost no force to push. The only saving grace is that it vibrates when it connects, so it makes it clear that it turned itself on again. Read more

This controller is way better than I was expecting for the price. I just wanted something I could easily travel with that still has dual analog sticks and this was the only one I've seen with recessed sticks. Turns out, it's also just an all around good controller. It connects no problem to my Steam Deck and Switch. It's surprisingly comfortable to hold for being as small as it is. I wouldn't recommend it for long sessions, but still good. The buttons all feel good and the overall construction feels sturdy. The recessed analog sticks take a little getting used to, but they feel smooth. I haven't tried the extenders, but the whole reason I wanted this was because the sticks don't extend past the buttons. One odd thing: The buttons to press for pairing are different depending on the device you're connecting it to, so don't lose the instructions, I guess. Overall, I'm very happy with it. Just having the recessed sticks so I can put in a bag, or even my pocket without a case and not worry is worth the price. That it's a solid controller in its own right is bonus. Read more

I've ordered two of these so far. The first one came with a severe stick drift to the left right out of the box. It made the controller completely unusable. Now after about two weeks, my replacement controller has developed the exact same drift. I can't figure it out for the life of me. I've tried resetting, recalibrating.. Nothing works. The controller would've been close to five stars. Unfortunately, now it's just a paper weight. Read more
